We went to a wedding last night

Lily went to her first wedding last night! It was my cousin's. She was very well behaved and we had a great time. The ceremony was long (like an hour) and she didn't fuss at all. When we got to the reception everyone in my family and Ben's kept wanting to hold her so she got a little overstimulated, but then I nursed her and she calmed down & fell asleep. Towards the end of the night she woke back up but was content.

But MAN did I have to play defense! Everybody and their mother was trying to touch all over my baby... people we didn't even know! Who does that?! The caterer was totally inappropriate. First in the evening she asked my husband to dance and he politely declined. Then later she sees him holding Lily and asks if she can hold her!

He just smiled, said 'yeah!' and walked away so it must have looked to her like he didn't hear/understand her. haha. Then later in the night we're sitting at a table talking to people and my mom is next to me holding the baby. I look down and that women is squatting at our feet for who knows how long with her fingers like up Lily's sleeve caressing her arm. She hadn't even acknowledged us -- we didn't know she was there! People are SO weird. She wasn't the only one walking up and trying to touch the baby's face, etc. BAH!

I feel like mine are all huge and saggy now from nursing but you give me hope that a nice bra and they might look 1/4 as nice as yours.

return of the sexy shoes! Glad she behaved so well. And yeah people are weird. My patients at work keep trying to touch my belly (after they took their hand out of their diaper)
