Sorry for not posting updates or anything until now, haven't had time to get online.

Alissa is now 8lbs! She's gained two whole pounds since birth! She now actually fits in her newborn clothes and is wearing size 2 diapers! Her growth is great but sadly she's been having loads of tummy problems and went from being calm and sleeping lots to screaming and hardly sleeping. I haven't had any sleep in a while but we're hoping her tummy problems will be gone around 2 months(most tummy problems get better by them from what we're told by our baby nurse) and since she was so calm at birth she'll be calm after the problems are gone.

Chris is doing good with her, he loves diaper change time and always gets the diapers and wipes for me then even throws away the old diaper. He's just such a great healer. He does have one problem with her though, when she sleeps in the day he seems to think it's funny to wake her up which is not fun for me since she'll get super fussy. He also likes to pull at her hands and feet really hard, we're working on getting him to stop but so far it isn't going well. Though he does like to give her kisses all the time which we are more than ok with. Alissa seems to really like Chris, she's always looking at him and following him with her eyes. When we change her diaper she always looks for him and if he moves out of her sight she will cry until he comes back which is just too cute. I can't believe how soon the bond starts bewteen siblings.

We are now 100% formula feeding. Turns out, I'll never be able to breastfeed. I have hypoplastic breasts meaning my breast never developed properly and I am unable to produce much milk at all. The most I pumped was 1oz total and that was on a good day. I could keep pumping and getting that sad 1oz but pumping takes up way too much time that I just don't have so it's not worth it. Sadly there is no way to fix it breastfeeding wise. On the up side, I am now a candidate for breast augmentation surgery and I finally got DH to give the OK for us to start saving up for it! So even though I'll never have the joys of breastfeeding there is at least an upside to it(Though I would of liked to breastfeed more).

No pics, I'll post some as soon as we find the cord, Chris got ahold of it and we haven't been able to find it.

Awww thanks for the update... now to get Chris to find that cord!

Sorry about her tummy issues. Hopefully you can find some way to get Chris to stop waking her up and tugging at her hands and feet. I never knew about hypoplastic breasts, thank goodness for formula milk in your case!

Glad that she's taking a real liking to him and that all is well.

Cheer to Miss Alissa gaining so well in her first month. I'm sorry about the tummy issues. Hopefully it will settle down soon.

I'm glad to hear you are doing well! I agree, you gotta find that cord, we need pics! I'm sorry Alissa is having tummy problems. That has to be difficult on everyone, poor girl! I bet watching her and Chris together is just the cutest thing.

i'm glad alissa is doing well! sounds like she's doing just great on the formula too, gained 2 lbs already! wtg! chris sounds like he loves her a ton, despite still figuring out how to treat a newborn, she must look just like a little doll to him!

that's exciting to be saving for breast augmentation too! fun!

Oh thanks for the update...but of course we need those pics soon! I'm glad to hear things are going well....I too love seeing my LO's together...big brother little sis is just too cute. Today we got Nora's tutu in the mail and tried it on her (for her one year old pics) and Harrison was like "she looks just like a princess!" He was all "I wanna dance with her...I wanna hold her"...it was too funny!

It's totally ok you're not breastfeeding..both of my kiddos were mostly not breastfed cause "my breasts weren't best either!" (I LOVE THAT BLINKIE)! So are you getting bigger nicer boobies....or are you getting some boobies taken away (I'll take some if so) *wink*....just curious, sorry if too personal but you can't just put that out there like that withough someone asking - right! gaahhh I'm that girl! Or is this something that health wise needs to be done when you have hypoplastic breasts? I have like the smallest boobs ever.....I would love if DH gave me the go ahead on at least some C's or something but I highly doubt this will ever happen!

I'll be getting bigger and nicer. I am so small it's not even funny, I wear a 34A(Was a AA before having Alissa). I wouldn't mind a C also but I'd be happy even with a B.

We'll be doing a big clean on Thursday moving everything around since Chris will be at his grandparents and we hope to find the camera cord then. We have a pic of Chris holding Alissa that I am just dying to show off.

Glad she is gaining so great! I hope you get the tummy issues sorted out...I know how hard those can be! We had a little improvement from probiotics. We ended up having to do reflux meds too.
