Really sucks sometimes.

DH is at work today as are all our friends as none of them have kids.

I really want to go out and do something as the weather is LOVELY but I dont want to go on my own.

I even resorted to asking my mum and sister but they too are busy Well my mum is... my sister is clock watching till her fella finishes work at 1pm (its currently 8.20am)

I guess is another day where i spend the morning in the garden then go for a long walk this afternoon when Mia wants to sleep

There is no reason to this post, I just wanted to moan that i am a loner

awe I'm sorry that stinks!

Well I'm a loner too but only because all the "friends" I have here have kids but they are always doing play dates and stuff and not inviting me, why? Because they have all known each other since like elementary school or even younger!! They have strong bonds and I don't really fit in there ya know?

Ahh well.

If I lived near either of you we would hang out and have some relaxing fun! It can be hard to make friends once you are a mom, that's for sure.

I know how it is sitting at home being bored. My only "friend" has a kid only 1.5mo younger then Kieran but she works, and she has her set of friends, I see her maybe once a month(when she asks me to watch her son...). I'm way different then her and her friends so we dont hang out anymore (they are the type that spend hours on hair and make up and I dont do either, plus I wont dress the same way as them)

I sit at home watching PBS with the kids all day. I get so bored I don't even know what to do wtih the kids and I'm not gonna clean all day either lol

I just wish i found it easy to make friends IRL.
I applied for a job today in hopes i will make friends that way.

Michelle - It would be so cool if we all lived closer! - Would be so much fun having people to hang with

i find it so hard to make friends IRL too. i figured it would be easier to do once i had kids and i could go to like library play groups, swimming lessons and stuff....i meet people at school but i never really become good friends with them cause its just night classes and the rest of my classes are correspondence. so, i'm a loner too! i think the person i hang out with most besides dh is my SIL......but dh is fun to hang out with so it works out i moved away from my hometown so i dont have any of those types of long time friends here either........

i just thought i would moan about being a loner right along with u!

That stinks. I am part of a mom's group but so far we only get together for "scheduled" things and it's not like I have friends from it that I can just call up and say hey let's go do something.

I'm right there with ya. I don't have any IRL friends I see or hang out with let alone friends with kids. My cousin is due to have a baby in July and we're pretty close but we don't get to see each other as often as I would like.

Awww I'm sorry. I have a lot of friends with kids but the majority of them live back home (3 hours away). I have 1 friend who just had a baby up here in Dec and another friend who's due in Dec so hopefully I wont be a loner once Lani gets here

I totally understand where you're coming from. I'm only 22 and most of my "friends" (it's not like we do anything and only talk on FB) ARE parents but shove their kids off on their parents all the time and are never with them. Or, they don't have kids and are out partying. It stinks!
