Totally stealing Michelle's idea here! (Hope you don't mind, Michelle!)

Took a few photos in RAW format on the weekend and am now trying to edit them... got a long way to go, but gotta start somewhere I suppose!! I have a real problem with over-editing photos, so am trying to keep the changes a little more subtle - what do you think?

These are my DF's new BIL's kiddo. Such a little cutie and didn't mind the camera at all, just wandered around chatting away to himself.

(Thanks for your comments ladies! Going to delete these images as they are not photos of my kid and I don't feel comfortable leaving photos on the internet)

I love the edits, you did a great job! I especially like the one with the tree. He has such bright blue eyes. And I don't think you overdid the eyes at all, which is a pet peeve of mine.

what program are you using?

I did bit a minor editing with the Camera RAW programme thingie that opens when I open the RAW file in Photoshop CS3 (first time I've used that!). Then after I was happy with the brightness/exposure stuff, I edited the eyes and mouth area in Photoshop.

ETA: I'm now looking at these pictures on my work computer and the colours aren't as bright as they were on my home computer... Bugger. Will have to test printing a few out I guess.
