First of all baby girl is perfect secondly I have kidney stones I've been having some back pain off and on all weekend and I never really thought much of it until yesterday. It got really intense so I called the Dr. and she told me to lay on a heating pad and try to rest that it was probably just baby's position but if it didnt' ease up to head to the hospital.. Well about midnight I woke up out of a dead sleep in throbbing pain so I woke up DH and off to the hospital we went.. Baby was perfect, no contractions, no dialation, blood pressure was great, urine sample came back with a trace of bloood so they sent for an ultrasound to check my kidneys for stones.. Of course ultrasound came back showing the stones so she gave me a muscle spasm prescription and a pain pill and I have to go back tomorrow and we are going to keep an eye on them to see if I pass them. Right now the pain just comes and goes but it can be really intense sometimes.. I've been told if I can handle the stones then I will be set to handle labor..
So if I am not around much its because I hurt and don't feel like being on the computer!

I have been told by moms who have done both that the stones are worse! Did they say how big or how many?

I had one when 7.5mo pregnant with Seamus and it sucked, dropped me to my knees at work during an award ceremony >.< Had to go to the ER and they gave me a shot of something and told to drink and rest.
I hope you get to feeling better!

i'm so glad the babe is alright, sounds like you need some TLC though! drink lots of water and hopefully you will pass the stone. my sister has had to have them removed, and it wasnt the funnest thing but it wasnt the worst either, her scars are only like half an inch or less.
*hugs* hope you're feeling better soon!

I feel so bad for you. I hope you pass it or them fast. Damon had them once and said it was awful.
