Resi! Angela is here and we were talking about your meet-up with her and how awesome you are for sending me so much stuff when I got pregnant, and for sending Angela a bunch of stuff too ... and she pointed out that I'm saying your name wrong! I've always said it "Ress-ee" ... it's so hard to change it now! It's like when I found out Breanna was "Bree- AW' nuh" and not "Bree Anna" ... craziness!
Does anyone else have a name pronounciation we may not have expected?!

Oh bugger, I've been saying Resi and Breanna the wrong way then!!
I'm Tasha... as in "Tar - sha"... heaps of people pronounce it 'T - ash - a'... I think it's because of the way it's spelt... People think that there should be an 'r' in there, but there ain't!!
Does that make sense at all?!

Oh no! I've always thought it was Rez-EE, too. I always pronounced Breanna wrong, too.. every Briana/Brianna I've ever known is Bre-ANNE-uh.

I remember Resi saying once how to pronounce her name and since then have been thinking it that way. Breanna I didn't know though.
People often call me "vee-anna" when it's "vee-en-ah". I've gotten "Vy-Anna" before too. Don't know how they got that one...
I didn't mind much before but it bugs my mom lol she was like "if i wanted her to be called Vianna, I would have spelled it that way."
My BFF is Kirsten (Kear-sten) but everyone calls her "Ker-sten". even our boss calls her Kristen LOL no matter how many times you correct someone, it often doesn't help.

I used to call her Ree-cee but I remember we had a post on pronunciations and she said it was called Ray-zee. I call Breanna, Bre-anna didn't know it was Bre-aw-nah. Oops.
My shortened name is Maa-ree. Some people call me Marie or Mary.

I didn't know that about Breanna's name, glad I know now! I don't think my name is tough, I'm sure you've all got it. lol
I've had people mispronounce Lochlann's name though--it's like Lock-lin
And Lila's is like Lie-luh, I've had people say it like Lee-luh

 word for word!
Wow how interesting!! I love hearing how people pronounce their names! Mine is pretty straightforward. A lot of people on JMs mix Kirsty's name up and think she is Kristy. I think cos most of the girls here and all girls in my PR are from overseas and Kristen is very popular over there.

I thought you were going to surprise me by flying me in to join in on the meet up fun!
My name is confusing. The spelling is nothing like the way it's prounounced at all. It's German with German spelling. Ray-Z - sounds like daisy, lazy, or crazy but with an R. I'm surprised that Angela remembered or got it right. A lot of people still say it wrong after I prounced it for them in person.

I got Vienna's pronunciation right since we have a city nearby named Vienna
I got Kaleigh wrong, I thought it was like Cali
We all got Resi (Res-see) wrong
I got Breanna right (I think its b/c of ethnicity - I know Bre isnt black lol, I have friends named Brianna, Briana, Breanna, who's names are pronounced Bre-Aw-Nuh
I got Lila right b/c it reminds me of Delilah
I got Tasha wrong... didnt think of the R sound.
My name is pretty standard although I know 1 Michelle where her name is pronounced ME-Chelle.
JUSTINE - is Seamus pronounced SEA-MUS or is there another pronunciation?
