So I went to my doc this morning to get my results from my bloodwork back. He tells me that my HCG QUADRUPLED from Saturday to Tuesday. I'm like that makes NO SENSE, because I got AF on SUNDAY. Should it not have been going down??!
So needless to say i'm really perplexed. So I am supposed to go back for another HCG test in a week to see what the numbers are doing. In the meantime obviously i go to walmart on my way home because i'm mental (and i had to go to a store in the same mall to get a baby gift for a girl at work anyways) and i buy two FRERs. because seriously how am i supposed to go a week not knowing if AF cleaned everything out of there??
Here is what I got when i tested the moment i got home with non-FMU:
To compare here is the test from Saturday:
I have no idea why the line looks so wonky in the one i just took, but its more like a sequence of dots than a line, but still look how much DARKER!??
What the heck is going on here......

I have heard of people getting breakthrough bleeding when they are indeed pregnant. Also, could you possibly have been having two babies and lost one but still pregnant with the other? That happened to a lady I knew a few years ago. There are a lot of reasons for bleeding during pregnancy, especially early pregnancy. Hoping and praying for the best for you!

LOL i wasnt planning on testing every day but now that you mention it YES I AM!
I ordered a whole ton of IC's online the other day (and OPK's obviously), so hopefully they come today, if not i will grab like a weeks worth of dollar store cheapies. I cannot believe i have to wait ANOTHER week to see whats happening...
wow...my HCG did quadruple in the amount of time that they say it should have doubled, so maybe it was twins? i have no idea, everything is such a big question mark right now.

I agree with Jenn. I have heard of people bleeding each month while pregnant, but it is not your period. Its impossible to have a period while pregnant. A "period" is shedding all of your uterine lining, and when your pregnant thats just not possible (if the pregnancy continues, if you miscarry that IS what happens, but not if its bleeding caused by other things) I think people always tend to call any kind of bleeding a "period" when in fact its not always the case. It looks like either you didnt miscarry until your numbers went up some more, or that you are in fact still pregnant... Cant wait to see what your HCG numbers are next week!
Has the bleeding/spotting stopped yet?

I bet you're still preggo!!!!
btw, I was an obsessive tester and took FRER everyday for like 10 days. I always took them with FMU at the same time and there were times when the line was lighter than the previous day. Freaked me out but obviously all turned out well. Just thought you should know that so you don't worry if that happens to you

careful with daily testing with FRERS they seem to be inconsistant. I got a dark postive and a barely positive with the same box of tests, and same urine.

that's so wierd alice! oh hey fun fact on FRER's actually, the line i got on saturday was representative of an HCG level of 12! I had a blood test that same day and that's what it came back as. I couldnt believe it would actually pick up such a small HCG number, so FRER's are back in my good books now...but i do know they are not perfect.

This is what I was thinking
I had a friend that also had an af while pregnant too.
And theres always the possibility of something like I had, an SCH (Blood clot behind the placenta) which 9/10 will cause you to bleed while pregnant till its gone or even till baby's born
