So i went for my blood test. I get the results back tomorrow afternoon.
I brought the paperwork with me for the ultrasound too and at the last min decided to pop in and see if it was a zoo or not in there. They basically whisked me right in and all of a sudden i was being ultrasounded.....she said she 'didnt see any pregnancy' and 'no gestational sac'. told me to call my doctor. i'm kinda worried about ectopic, but if the numbers come back increasing properly tomorrow it could still have just been too early to see anything on the ultrasound....but seriously, WHY did i do this to myself? i guess i thought in my heart of hearts that they would see a gestational sac....i'm no closer to knowing what is going on either....

ps. i did get two positive pregnancy tests with FMU this morning.

pps. please dont yell at me for going to the u/s, i know it prob wasnt the best thing to do...

It could easily be too early, you are only like 4 weeks, which is too early. I wouldn't worry, but I also would have wanted to go get a u/s too!

I'm so sorry, but i totally understand! You just want to know one way or the other what's going on!!! I would too! I do think it might be too early to see anything. When I was nearly 7 weeks, all they could see abdominally was the sac. So at four weeks i'm not sure what you would see.

I think you did the right thing. At least you will get some bloodwork answers tomorrow. And early u/s are totally unpredictable. I just hope there's good news on your numbers tomorrow and then a sac on the next u/s!

i didnt know that alice.....i thought u HAD to see the sac at 5 weeks (which is what i would be theoretically, but i def implanted late if i even did)....who knows, maybe i am only 4 weeks....

i'm so nervous about tomorrow's phone call with the beta results......
the more i look at my frer from this morning i think its way lighter than the friday/saturday ones....at least it should have been getting darker....

I'm sure it was sreally difficult going in for the ultrasound and having that happen.... but don't beat yourself up, I absolutely would have done the same thing. You just want answers and that's normal. I hope you get good news asap!

Don't feel silly Sarah, of course you are anxious to know! Actually, *if* it is an ectopic, it is probably a good thing you went in. Hopefully it isn't, of course.

I'm sorry, I know the wait must be horrible.
