Baby girl decided to be a brat today. I stayed laying down all morning. I had my cereal and orange juice for breakfast but she never moved. It got to lunch time and Gem and I ate and she still wouldn't move. So I pulled out the doppler and found her HB was 144 which is a little high for her when she's not active. I waited a while longer and then decided to call the OB again. Of course, as soon as I hung up the phone she gave me two little nudges so I knew she was okay. I figured when they called back i would just tell them she was fine and that would be that.
When the nurse called back I told her what had happened and that I'd gotten two movements since so i thought everything was okay. She said she wanted me to make an appointment ASAP so I called the main desk and made an appointment for tomorrow morning and then Shane, Gem and I decided to go do some shopping. We got about 15 minutes from home and the OB called and said he wanted me in right away so we turned around and all went in.
My BP was up a bit (110/80) so then he was even more concerned. We listened to her and she sounded okay and even kicked the doppler once. But he still sent me for an u/s to check fluid levels which I was totally okay with. She looked great, fluid is perfect and she is measuring over a week ahead at 1lb. 8oz.!!!! So the tech gave us some pics and after I saw baby girl my BP went back down to 110/60 so I guess it was all that worrying about nothing that had it up!!!!

I am going to see the doc every two weeks for now and hopefully this will be the end of the drama!

Actually Beth, according to that chart she's closer to 25+ weeks! 1lb. 8oz. would be 1.5 lbs not 1.1!!!! According to my pregnancy week-by-week she should be just a pound this week! The OB seems to agree with my feeling that she will be bigger than Gemma was!
Thanks for looking everyone! I really think she looks like me but Shane says he doesn't see it! I love the fact that she had her hands up over her head a lot. I have a ton of pics of Gemma as a newborn laying like that. I think baby is taking after her mom and sister!

That's okay! Preggo brain is totally getting me too! I keep feeling like I'm forgetting something ALL the time! I woke up in a dead panic at like 6AM because I swore I needed to be somewhere!

I'm glad she is okay! I'm so jealous of your 3D pics, we never got good ones. I even drank a 20 oz bottle of coke, the first coke I've had the whole pregnancy, and she still stayed still during the 3D. Brat. But boy did I enjoy the coke! You know it is bad when you smell it first like it is a fine wine.
Anyway, sorry, tangent. Do you ever try poking her if she isn't moving? Any time baby ever worries me I just ball my fist up and gently nudge at my side or I'll shake my belly where I know her butt and back are and it usually gets her going. Maybe it is just the position she is in, though, I'm probably tickling her! I'm sure it has prevented doctor calls on my end quite a few times.

Yea, Krista, I have shaken my belly or poked around to try to locate a body part. It doesn't seem to phase her. Sometimes lying on my back and then rolling around a little bit seems to upset her and she'll go nuts. She just seems to get these phases that she won't respond to ANYTHING, not 3 glasses of orange juice, not a bottle of soda, not a poke in the butt, etc. I think she's going to be as stubborn as her sister!
