Just wanted to check in while I have a few minutes. We are home and doing fine. Thanks sooo much Beth for updating everyone
Labor was the worst! But it was all worth it! I dont wish back labor on my worst enemy!!!
I cant stop looking at her (although she looks like her daddy) 
I'm sooo in love with her!!! I cant just stop looking at her and seeing how gorgeous she is!
I'm still trying to learn her cries. She loves her hands, they're forever in the way. WE're doing okay at BF. She's so tiny and her mouth is so small, that she latches on a tad bit past the nipples but It hurts!!! I thought that BF wasnt suppose to hurt! LIARS!!!! They didnt have LCs there but most of their nurses were very informed and experienced with it. They all said that it takes a few days/weeks to get my nips to toughen up. I showed them my latch and they found nothing wrong with it. Milk hasnt come in yet. But she likes to nurse (and comfort nurse)... I have to supplement every 2nd or 3rd feeding with formula (after having her on the breast so that she wont be nipple confused) since she was so tiny b/c she cant afford to lose much weight (but only until my milk comes in). She only lost 2oz when we left, so now she's 5lb9oz, they said that that was great.
She's a lil colicky and loves to root her hands around which has me checking her every few minutes to make sure she's alright. Sleeping was pain as she hates her back and loves her stomach and they didnt want her to sleep in the bed with me and dont want her sleeping on her tummy. Although I slept with her on my chest (chest to chest) anyway. I gave into the paci and we love it!!!
She has a big dome in the back of her head, so that in addition to her being sunny side up made my labor sooo much worse!!!! 20 freakin hours of active labor and about 2.5 days of back labor misery. I got pitocin and an epi (twice) and felt just about everything except about 3 hours of which I was knocked out. Thank God for Pitocin and Epi's or else she wouldve NEVER came out lol (haha yeah I wanted to go natural but I definitely do not regret my decision, the best one I ever made!!!). I'll post a birth story in a few days or when I get a chance.
Oh and she has a CRAP LOAD of hair. My heartburn wasnt in vain lol.

It takes a couple weeks to get past the discomfort of BF'ing but it does get so much better.

I have that EXACT same outfit that Lani's wearing I'm so sorry labor was such hell for you but she's gorgeous girl!! Yeah, BF is kinda tough for the first 1-2 weeks but it gets MUCH MUCH easier. This is coming from someone who CHOSE to FF her first and never thought I'd BF due to lack of knowledge

She's just beautiful Chelle!!! I'm sorry your birth was so rough, it sounds like it was awful! But you look so great and so in love with your little girl!
I agree, whoever said breastfeeding isn't supposed to hurt was a darn liar! The first 1-2 weeks are rough but it gets soooooo much better and easier. Actually, Lila is the only one of my kids where breastfeeding was only mildly uncomfortable for about a week and then I was fine, with my first two the first two weeks were pretty painful.

Sorry about the rough labour. You look so pretty after just giving birth. I think I'm the only one who came out of it looking like a cow.
BFing does hurt initially but it will get better.
Can't wait to read your birth story and get more updates on her.
