I always thought kids making a pouty face, like throwing temper tantrums, were a learned behavior.

Nolan has started doing a pouty face, complete with it's own specific cry. At first it really broke my heart to watch him crying with a pouty face while trying to figure out what he wants. But now I can't help but laugh, and now we kind of mock him when he does it, like "Ohhhh poutttyyy faceeeee life is soooo hardddd".

I mean really.....

where in the world did he pick that up????

How cute Just wait until he throws his first fit and throws himself on the floor.. I always thought that was learned as well but Chris did it and I couldn't believe it, no clue where he got it from! I really think it's all built in.

How cute! They all do it as newborns or most do it. I remember Oliver would do it all the time and it was the cutest thing ever.

I don't think it's learned! It's just that they learn it gets a reaction and so they go back to it as kids later on!

I love Nolan's many faces! He is like a baby comedian; I can just hear all the impressions and funny voices already!

they do it for all sorts of reasons:

we did NOTHING to her I think its extremely cute and they only do it for a short time before it becomes a regular every day face (and it changes too!!)
