So I've bit the bullet and we're sending Liam to preschool. I found one I really like and its not crazy expensive like most of the others. Its 3 days a week for half a day, I think he's going to love it! We have an appt. to tour it tomorrow afternoon, I'm excited for him!

Also, my MIL got him a little mat for practicing CURSIVE writing--I don't know what she's thinking! She thinks because he can print his name he's ready for cursive. I told her to hold off with it for a few years and let him master printing first. Of course this is also the woman that bought him a toy clock to learn to tell time when he was 2. And then she got Lochy a book to learn to count to 10--something he's been able to do for almost a year now! She really needs to find a middle ground!

My daughter is going to start pre-school once a spot is available at my mom's child care center.. Which should be when school starts up in September.. I'm so excited and feel blessed that I can bring her there.. If she wasn't my mother, I could never afford her.. Her center is one of the bests in my area..

you're MIL sounds like a mixture of my mom and my MIL. My mom will buy these things that are way above their heads (she sat Taylor down before she was 2 to try and watch National Velvet. A super old movie about horses with Elizabeth Taylor ) and all my MIL buys the girls are stuffed animals and STILL baby talks to Taylor LoL.
