The nurse midwife practice called today and said one of the OB's in my practice refused to transfer my care. Is that even friggin legal?! I have no high risk label, no complications, nothing! Yes, we were scared I was leaking fluid but I WASN'T and that hasn't changed. I am not on any medications or being treated for any medical problems! There is NO reason that I can't see the CNM's! I'm calling the OB practice tomorrow and demanding to talk to the OB who refused to transfer my care. I don't care if I have to go sit in their office for the entire day to get answers! And no matter what I will not be staying in their care! I'm done!

They can not do that. Tell them you have fired them from your care and demand your records are sent to the CNM's as they are in charge of your care now. They can not refuse anything and if they continue tell them you will report them to the Licensing board/Professional board of conduct :-) That will light a fire under them :-)
