Yesterday my MIL came to visit and we decided to take Nolan on his first trip to the mall! Up until yesterday, every time I went out I wore him, so I figured since we would be out for awhile I would bring the stroller.....I was really nervous how he was going to be in it because you never know how they are going to like things the first time - not that this kid hates anything, haha.
Well, he had a BLAST. He loved getting to check everything out and all the sights and sounds. I was a little weirded out by everyone staring at him - because I'm so used to him being up on my chest and people having to ask to see him - but I got over it. He jabbered and "talked" almost the entire time and kicked his legs. He fell asleep for about 30 minutes and woke up when the stroller stopped moving for lunch, and then fell asleep again towards the end. The only time he got fussy was when he needed a fresh diaper and even then he thought it was awesome to be in the ladies room and getting his diaper changed somewhere different.
I seriously have the best baby....he just loves doing new stuff - anytime I introduce something new he kind of takes it all in and waits to figure out if he likes it or not, and we have yet to do something he doesn't like (minus shots of course). My family is coming to visit finally in 2 weeks (WOOOOHOOOO) and I know we are going to do tons of stuff like going to the zoo, etc. so it makes me feel better knowing that generally he enjoys getting out on the town.
He also managed to pick up a 2/$15 sticker on his leg and glitter all over his head...he was a busy boy. Here he is at the start of the trip....he is starting to look SO grown up...and so chubby!!!!!!!

Cute picture!
Yeah, Hank loves yo go shopping. He enjoys people watching and seeing all the different colored things. It's even more exciting IMO when they can ride up front in the shopping cart and you can talk to them more while you're there.

He's such a cutie!!! He's got cheeks you just want to kiss! How much does he weigh now?
We tried Lila in the stroller for the first time the other day--she tolerated it but overall she wasn't impressed. And she hates my sling, I can't wait to get my babyhawk as she prefers to be up and looking around.

Same thing here! The only way Jenna likes me to carry her is facing out. I put her in the moby wrap or Ktan and face her out so she can see everything and she loves it. Especially if I'm some place that is colorful like the bookstore or a clothes store. Not that I can get much shopping done as I can't try anything on with her like that!

I think he is about 13 lbs now...his 2 month appointment isn't until May 17th, I'm scared of how much he weighs....he was up 2 lbs in 2 weeks last time he got weighed..
He LOVES the moby & babyhawk too...but always sleeps instantly so this was a new experience for him - to be out and awake to check everything out.

Love it!!! It collapses/expands very easy and it is SUPER light. It turns on a dime (which didn't keep me from banging into stuff all the time). I just wasn't used to not be able to kiss
his head or see him every 5 seconds, so my neck hurts from leaning over the top to peak at him.
He was so cute, we were stopped in a store and MIL went to the dressing room to try on something so I went to the front of the stroller to talk to Nolan who was looking all around - when he saw me he got a BIG smile on his face and started grinning. *melts*

All of my kiddos have been strolled babies but Morgan liked being in my front pack more. I'm making a moby so I hope I get a lot of use out of it!!! And I hope it keeps people from touching the baby (most of the time they ask. It's more the kids that see a baby and think they can touch)

That is great how well hes growing!!! You must make cream instead of milk! I think I make skim--Lila only weighs 10 1/2lbs and she weighed a whole pound more than Nolan when she was born--she only gains like half a pound every 2 weeks.

aww! I love the little picture of him! he's getting so big! lily's first stroller trip was at the mall too and she was not having it, so I wound up carrying her while Ben pushed the stroller. Then the second time we tried to the stroller for a walk and she fell asleep in it... but overall she prefers to be worn. We took her to the zoo when she was 2 months or so and had a blast.. I can't wait to see your zoo pics!

I love this! He is just getting cuter by the minute! I'm glad he liked the stroller! I don't even plan on getting a stroller so I hope this baby likes being worn!

girls are more dainty at his 1 month appt his pedi came in and immediately said "well i guess i dont have to ask how breastfeeding is going!". i'm pretty sure im going to end up with a 15 lb - or close to it - 2 month old. good thing he is long too, like 24+ inches now hahaha.

he is growing so fast....he has blown through 0-3 month clothes, 3-6 will be coming out next weekend. i was so afraid he would hate the stroller i almost just wore him anyways but my mil bought us the stroller so i felt obligated to at least try , hahaha.
