Sometimes I just want to slap DH in the head!!!! I get that this cycle has been tough on him.....we can't have sex per DR, so he is left to take care of it himself, only when I say it is ok(can't do it 2-5 days before IUI and that date kept changing) He can't drink, smoke and has to keep his coffee intake low. Granted he is only a social smoker so it's not a huge deal for hm to stop that. He also only has some beers on the weekend, but was really looking forward to drinking tonight with his friends. He is now mad at me because I won't let him. I don't want drunk lazy sperm for our IUI. He is now at the computer pouting. I told him we both have to make sacrifices, this cycle. I have had my blood taken 12 times, I have had 10 ultrasounds, I have missed part of work 4 days. I give myslef a needle everyday, and put more medication in body than anyone ever should. I just don't get why he thinks one weekend without being with his frineds is going to kill him. I love hanging out with his friends, we always have SO much fun and they are just the sweetest people, but they just drink and smoke cigarettes the whole time...not the best influences even if we just went to hang out...LOL
Anyways, rant over...LOL I will get over this, as will DH, but I am just mad right now.

Wow, I'm sorry Morgs...it sounds to me like you're making most of the sacrifices!!! PLUS in the end, you'll still have to sacrifice your body and v-jay!!!! (Granted, a well worth it sacrifice, but a sacrifice no less!) I say this to him "Get over it so your wife can have a baby!"

I can totally understand why you're mad. And you're right, you both have to make sacrifices and his are really small in comparison to the ones you're making. He'll just have to get over it.

I totally know how you feel on this one Morgan! I sort of had the same issue with Jason last month!

Cycle #1-9 - All Natural....5BFN's, 4BFP's (all ended in miscarriage) Cycle #10-11 - Met with first RE, diagnosed with heterzygeous MTHFR mutation & slightly low SA on all counts. -BFN, Cycle #12 - First IUI+Trigger - BFN, Cycle #13 - BFN Cycle #14-15 - Met with new RE, diagnosed with a blocked right tube that previous RE completely overlooked or didnt care to mention. Soy (120mg) - BFN Cycle #16 - Clomid (100mg) - BFN, Cycle #17 - Clomid (100mg)+Trigger+IUI - BFN Cycle #18 - Acupuncture+Clomid (100mg) - BFN Cycle #19-27 - 2 Soy (160mg) cycles, the rest all natural also 30lbs lost!! - BFN's Cycle #28 - New RE is GREAT! Put on bcp 7/6/11, Lap surgery 8/1/11- Tubal cyst (5cm) found and removed, Uterine Septum removed, and Stage II-III endo removed. Cycle #29 - All Natural - BFN, Cycle #30 - All Natural - BFN, Cycle#31 - All Natural - BFN, DONE TTC FOR NOW

He is in a much better mood about it now. He was better a couple hours after I posted this..LOL
He did tell me though, after he "sperms in a cup" he is buying a pack of cigarettes and drinking a pot of coffee...LOL
