I have ordered a cloth nappy !!!!

I was looking because we plan to use cloth nappys on our next baby and just happened to look on ebay and wow some bargains !!!

I have ordered one of these : In the pink swirly one

1 Reusable Cloth Pocket Nappy & 2 Inserts UK SELLER!!! on eBay (end time 09-May-10 10:14:07 BST)

Gonna try it one afternoon and see how we get on .. if I like ... which I am certian I will, I am hoping to order these :

5 Reusable Cloth Pocket Nappies 10 Inserts UK SELLER!!! on eBay (end time 12-May-10 22:35:48 BST)

and then maybe a pack of 3:

3 Reusable Cloth Pocket Nappies 6 x Inserts UK SELLER!! on eBay (end time 09-May-10 22:44:07 BST)

I am planning on making my own inserts ... what material would be the best for me to do so ???

Also I don't particulary want to buy special ones for nightime ... shes not a heavy wetter overnight ... so could I just add more inserts to bulk it out a bit just in case ??

Also for Chloe at her age how many do I need ??? Would the one on the way and then the 5 pack be enough .. I only added the 3 just in case ??

You can Google "how many cloth diapers will I need to start with" and they say anywhere from 12-24 prefolds/diapers for a newborn per day (you change them more than sposies) So if you have that many now, your set for chloe. Hth!!!

Yep with the pocket diapers you can add another insert to bulk it up. Kieran goes through about 5-6 diapers a day and 1 over night so depending on how much Chloe pees theres a basis for that. Newborns you need a lot more(as I'm sure you know )

Thats the nice thing about pocket diaprs they dry super fast(hang dry or dryer drying) just lay the shell and the inserts apart(not stuffed) and it should take around 2hrs for them to dry and be ready to use
