So today started out great. Got up had my shower and breakfast, and took a new set of belly pics. Came downstairs to a Mother's day card from DH. It was so sweet it make me cry, and a new willow tree figurine. (the pregnant one) Then we went to church.

At my church we do about a half hour of praise songs before starting everything else. We were singing and I was all into it... then i started to feel weird, like i need to sit down NOW. So i sat and continued with worship. Then I felt horribly thirsty. I left the room and got a drink and came back and tried to stand a little longer. I still felt really "not all there". Finally its time to sit down and pray. I feel worse. I feel like the world is spinning and like i'm going to pass out. I whisper to DH that I need to go home. Right then "intermission" starts, and all these people come up to introduce themselves and we go through introductions fast and then run out the door. (i don't think i remembered anyone).

On the way home, I realized I didn't have to pee when I woke up this morning, and that my lips were really chapped. I figured this is all dehydration. I go home and drink a ton and go take a nap. I thankfully wake up with a full bladder this time. I still feel a little odd. I don't understand how it came on so fast. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it a preggo thing? If so do you have any tips to keep it from happening? It's kind of embarrasing. I guess i'm going to have to watch myself a little more carefully...

That's happened to me in both pregnancies! With Drake, it was in the hospital cafeteria, and I seriously almost hit the ground. With Eli, it happened the first time driving to work. Scared the crap out of me, I had to very quickly pull over as everything got black. Then it happened again in the holding area at work one morning, as I was picking up my patient for my first case. Totally normal, but scary! Eat and drink more!!! Gotta go, drake up from nap.....

Yup I had it if I didn't eat or drink or if it was hot and wasn't hydrated enough .. I had a appoinment all of a sudden (Emma will probs remeber this when I was preggy with Chloe) For funny vision .. had to go in as its a sign of pre e and all it was was becasue I hadn't eaten enough .. I had a very high number of ketones in my wee and my blood pressure was normal so they were ok to rule out pre e!!

But I was told you need to have a drink every hour to keep hydrated .. I did this .. yes I spent most of the day peeing but I felt better xx

I had issues with that during my second trimester, but mine was blood pressure related. Twice I blacked out. The lowest reading I got on my BP was 73/39 if I remember correctly... I know the bottom number was 39 but I could be high on the top number. Anyway, it was due to the increase in blood volume and lower BP is common during the 2nd tri, and of course by the end of my pregnancy my BP was 200/120.

Mine was a similar reading whenever I got dizzy and would start to black out. 39 was the lowest number I got too. Maybe it was 37.. Don't recall. But it was LOW.

In my 3rd tri when I heart the heart issue, it was a combo of the both that was causing the dizziness and blacking out.

Buy a cheap blood pressure cuff and keep an eye on it. When you feel dizzy, check your pressure :-)
