Hey ladies! I'm attempting to make a header for my blog, and I think it may be similar to making siggies. I've downloaded a background, and have two pictures I want to add to it. I've managed to get the background into photoshop elements (its a jpg file), but can't seem to open the pictures into elements from iphoto. (I have a mac). I posting here to see if any of you can help me with my elements issues, or make it for me. I'm so photoshop elements illiterate. So here is the background of the header that I want. It matches my blog for summer.



Here is a picture of Drake and I. His birthday is 1-5-09. I want just his name and birthday below the pic.


And me and Eli. 3-30-10

Nikki- in elements, you should be able to go to file-open-then search for the location to open the pics. If you check out the siggy board, they actually have some awesome tutorials for learning the basics about PSE and making what you want

Thanks Jen! It occurred to me after I posted this that I could use a siggie as a header on my blog, and that the siggie board could probably help me. It does look like they've got awesome tutorials. I can't wait to learn a little and spruce up my blog!
