I do freecycle-ing. I find local groups that post things your seeking/donating etc and people do it for free! I got TONS while I was down in New Orleans, and gave away tons also. You can google groups in your area. The Freecycle Network
You have to buy the toys that you break....so I guess this would be a good way to teach kids about being accountable and respectful of things (community well being etc.) when they are old enough to understand those thing...if Harrison broke something I'd make him give me some of his allowance money to help pay for it. (gosh I'm a tough mom aren't I HE HE HE!) It's like library books...Harrison loves getting library books and he is very careful with them so that the other kids who take them home can enjoy them as much as he does...he gets all upset if we pick one out that is ripped or colored on!
