I had my doctor's appointment yesterday with the specialist. I'm happy to say I don't have Lupus or anything else. My ANA blood test was a very slight positive and he said that there are a lot of false positives with those tests. He said my symptoms don't add up to Lupus and I seem very healthy. The chest discomfort I've been having on and off has been gone for a couple weeks and my xray came back normal. He said it didn't sound like pleurisy and it would have should up on an xray or he would have heard it. I guess those couple days of my joint pain either was a fluke or I "made" myself feel that way because it happened after I was reading the symptoms of Lupus. Another this is that Damon was sick a couple days before with an achy body so maybe I had what he had. He examined my joints and said they are fine and show no signs of anything.

I'm relieved because for a couple weeks it was all I could think of but finally stopped stressing up until the night before my appointment. Google is evil and I'm not going to google things anymore when it comes to my health because I always get worked up and think the worse. In the future I'll wait to see a doctor and then "research" if I'm already diagnosed with something.

What great news - so glad to hear you are healthy!!

I agree about Google! It's very easy to get carried away with research.

What a relief! I'm so happy for you.

Google is totally evil, I have been chastised many a time (usually by Angela S. ) for googling.
