I had my 37 week appointment. All that false labor did a little something, not much though. 1 cm dialated and either 70% or 80% effaced (I can't remember which it was). Last time I was 1 cm dialated and 50% effaced... so a little something counts right? I'm hoping to be one of the lucky few that dialate a cm or two or three before I go into labor! That would be nice. It is okay to dream right?

We discussed my birth plan and I'm happy to say she was okay with ALL of it, so I'm super stoked about that! I was worried she would give me grief over some of it, but nope.

Oh, and another good thing came of the false call last night... it totally lit a fire under DH's butt and now he is in a hurry to finish his honey-do-before-the-baby-comes list. You should have seen how he was frantically trying to get some of it done last night.

I'm glad it made a tiny bit of progress for you! Your gorgeous little girl will be here before you know it I bet your husband looked hilarious LoL! Now that we're set for kids, the few weeks leading up to when baby is due we spend every last minute we have with each other because the first 6-9 months are not yours It's so worth it though.

That's great you made some progress!!! Dilation isn't really a big deal, its the effacement that's really telling and you're almost there! At my 37 week appt with Liam I was 1.5cm dilated and 75% effaced (up from 1cm and 50% the week before) and I had him a couple days later. I can't wait to see your little girl!!!

I remember how nice it felt to find out my body was making progress. It's nice to see some change at each appointment even if it doesn't mean much for when labor will start.

I didn't know effacement actually meant something! I mean, I know it means something, but I didn't know it could indicate how close you are to having a baby.

Apparently the false labor is starting a trend. I've been having a lot of pains that feel like AF is coming. Ugh.

I plan on laboring as long as I can at home, so I will probably update you ladies while I am at home myself. I've been meaning to ask Shannon to be my contact since we live in the same city and I think I already have her contact info, but I keep forgetting to PM her!
