I've been playing with one of Morgans dolls, and the newspaper and bikini fold seem like they press into the babies stomach. Am I doing this wrong or is the baby doll too small? I'm going to take a picture to show ya what I mean lol

i find that CD are a lot bulkier in general, my SIL never even uses the CD we got her because she can't fit cute outfits on Payne over the diapers.

I never used a snappi with my prefolds. I would just fold in three lenth wise and fold the top part over into the cover. They are bulky in general but a little more on top because of that extra fold I did. He would of lasted longer in his clothes if it wasn't for the bulky prefolds.

With Kieran I did(some times still do) the newspaper fold not bikini I could never get it to work, and it wasn't very bulky on her. But then I started doing the trifolding like Resi but I fold the extra down in the back and its just fine.

I'd say the PFs are more bulky than other cloth that I've done.

We use the newspaper fold with infant prefolds and it isn't bulky, even when we had to fold down a tiny bit. We snappi then. We are still in infant prefolds but will need to move to GMD Red's soon and we are now in Size 2 duo covers. *tear*

I've only got a couple diapers that are super bulky under clothes.

Maybe its just that doll? It's the only really life size one she has. But of course Isabella will be a bit thicker and won't have stuffing for limbs

We did the same with Preston, expect I used pins instead of the snappi. The snappi was more for DH because pins made him nervous.

Bethy that diaper cover is so darn cute!!!

I do the newspaper fold as well. Im too scared to do a trifold..Im worried it would leak and be really scary! Ive done the binki twist a few times and it doesnt seem bulky too me. Any fluff is more bulky than sposies..but I think pockets and AIO are wayyy more bulky than my prefolds. The only pockets I will use during the day are my BG 3.0 they are so trim!

Thank you Brandi!! That print reminds me of, well, its kinda our family song "3 little birds" by bob marley. We always sing it when someone is upset or has a booboo. Even hubby joins in and sings it! When I saw that fabric, I HAD TO HAVE IT!! I got every last inch that was on the cardboard Its super cute and was on sale

Its also the reason I got the pink spacesaver highchair - it has some birdies on it, in the same style as the cover - its super cute and I cant help but think of that song when I see it!!
