How was your Hike?!

I was wondering about the hike too!! hope it went well, i'm sure it was beautiful, i love the fall.

Hey girls! I took heaps of pictures which I'll upload tonight when I get home. We didn't get home til late last night so I didn't have time to then.

The hike was great, although one of the most difficult I've done - it was either hiking straight up, or straight down!! So hard on the legs, but well worth it... Although I can hardly move today, my body is sooo sore!

The boat ride to were we started was great fun - the most rough boat ride I've ever been on! At one point the waves were so huge, we literally couldn't see the land any more!

We were so lucky with the weather. It only rained a little on the 2.5 hours in, and not at all on the 7.5 hours out. Got a huge thunderstorm over night while we were in the hut. It all blew away by the following day though, and we had amazing views out over the Bay of Islands.
