Chris spent his birthday with a tummy virus, first time he's been sick ever. He's crying all day, throwing up a lot and lets just say diaper changes have not been fun. I feel so bad for him, he's never been sick before and to start with such a bad virus. We took him to the hospital today and that was not easy, he screamed like crazy and didn't want the doctor near him. They wanted a pee sample from him but he's in diapers and that is not an easy thing so we was sent home with tubes to try and get at home. The doctor more or less got onto me about him not being potty trained but he's only 2! We have been trying some but if you remove his diaper and put him on the potty he cries and I don't want to push it if he's not ready. I just hope this virus passes soon, I hate seeing him in pain, just breaks my heart.

Awe poor little guy!! That sounds just awful!!

And a huge happy birthday to him! I was out ALL day so I must have missed posting his thread! Very sorry about that.

He's only 2, with Curtis we were just starting to talk about potty stuff, and he got his potty chair. I can't believe the dr said something like that. Ugh. If he's not ready, he's not ready! Curtis is 3 and we are still having #2 issues! He didn't get pee fully down closer to 2.5.

Aww happy birthday to him! Don't let the doctor push you around about potty training. He just turned 2! Ian wasnt trained till he was 4, and thats because I let him be ready on his own. They potty train super fast if its on their terms

Poor little guy. I'm sorry he's not feeling well and it just sucks that he was sick on his birthday.

Sorry the doctor gave you a hard time about his potty training. I too agree that 2 is early and though a few kids do get it by 2 that's not the majority.

Poor little guy! I hope he starts feeling better soon, I know it must break your heart to see him like that.

And you gotta tell that doctor where to stick it!
