I just looked at the photos for Rockin' Green Detergent!!! OMG!!!! GROSS!!!! I'm so going to buy that stuff because that's some seriously amazing stuff!!!! I already thinking of all the things I can soak! One question though, do you only use it to soak stuff or can you use it as regular detergent as well?

Brandi, From what I read you can use it as a regular detergent as well. I like that idea because I don't have to buy two different brands!

It is a detergent - you can just soak stuff in it. I've used it from the start of my cloth diapering so I feel kind of left out on the "soaking stuff" craze.

Their pail deodorizer is TO DIE FOR as well....I sprinkle it all the time just to smell it when I throw a diaper in, hahahaha.

I'm getting the pail deodorizer too! Ha ha.. I'm so excited over trying out this detergent. I hope it takes care of our stink problems. I can't believe I thought the stink (after diaper is peed in) was normal with CD'ing until a couple weeks ago.

Woo, this thread is HOT!

It's a detergent designed for cloth diapering but can be used on all of your laundry as well -- and judging by their facebook group lots of people switch to using it for everything, especially after rockin' a soak and seeing all the nasties other detergents let your clothes hang on to.

I just ordered some so I don't really have an opinion to voice on it yet -- but seeing the photos customers uploaded to their facebook page has me totally SOLD. Our towels have been smelling and I've been considering tossing them totally b/c no matter how many times I wash they they still have this weird 'funk' to them. I've tried covering the smell with detergent so it's just become a big mess. I cannot wait to 'rock a soak' and see how much gunk and detergent come out of them! Of course it'll be nice to use on my diapers as well, but I'm mostly excited to 'save' my towels. haha.

Type in 'rockin' green' into the search box on FB and it will pull up the cloth diaper detergent. If you look through the pictures, it's photos other people have uploaded after 'rockin' a soak' which basically means throwing their 'clean' things like diapers or towels or work uniforms or whatever into a tub or the washer, adding hot water and a bit more detergent than normal and letting them sit for a few hours or overnight. It pulls out all of the built up detergent and other gunk that has clung to your items over time and you'll see some funky water in those pictures! I can't wait to do my own freshly laundered things and see what comes out!

I tried this detergent a few months ago and even after running an entire second cycle with nothing but water for a rinse, it still gave V horrible diaper rash. It was a chemical burn all over her sensitive bits and eventually all of the skin died and peeled off. And let me tell you, the screaming was heartbreaking.

Also, I just realized I placed another order April 27th and I still haven't received it. I just put in a request to figure out what's up with that. All of my previous orders went through without a hitch so I'm assuming this is just a fluke.

If any of you want the wooden measuring scoop they sell, send me a PM and I'll mail mine to you.

omg that's awful! what detergent do you usually use, cause I know this kind is supposed to be okay for sensitive babes!

I wasn't going to order one because I figured I could just use a cheap TBSP from the kitchen, but if you're looking to get rid of yours I'd love to use it!
