I had a company car for a while which was taken off me a month ago as I live on a gravel road and was unable to keep it clean. I was annoyed, but understood and my boss said he'd discuss a payrise with me as that car was suppose to be like a pay rise for me at the time. We finally had a perforance review yesterday and I was given half the payrise I was requested (I was totally pushing it though - didn't think I would get that much!!).

So I went home happy...

Got to work this morning and my boss tells me he throught about it some more last night and felt bad, so decided to increase my rise by another $1K!! I'm so happy! It's about an extra $80ish each week after tax, so will really come in handy!

DF has already told me to save it all so we can afford for me to stop working for a bit longer when baby comes

Oh yeah, and the acupuncure seems to be working already... I did throw up this morning, but am feeling so much better now! Got another appointment on Thursday.

i'm glad acupuncture is starting to work. i should have mentioned when i started going at first i gave it 2 weeks and i saw a drastic improvment. Now when i go in for a 'tune up' it only takes one session for me to see a big change. I go a lot less frequently and am pain free majority of the time, its the best! is it a chinese medicine person you go to? cause they may have herbs that could help with the m/s too........

Yes, my boss does know I'm pregnant again. He has been watching me like a hawk, and as soon as I refused alcohol once, he was all like... "I'm sooo on to you!!". We get on well, so it's cool.

No, I don't think the guy I went to does Chinese Medicine... I'll ask him next time.

Yeah, the car being taken off me was a pain (it was a bright orange Mini-Cooper! Awesome), but as I live on gravel roads, it was always so dirty!! My boss is a total clean freak, plus he thought it looked bad for the business. I don't mind though, the pay-rise makes it worth while!
