My parents have a pool so we plan to spend lots of time over there this summer. They cranked the heater up to about 87 degrees so the water was practically bath water! We waited until around 4:30 or so in the afternoon so there was less sun when we took her out. We bought her a 'vessel' at wal-mart but it is still wayyyy too big for her so I held her. She LOVES bath time so I figured she'd like swimming too! She was definitely content in the water, but we had dragged her all over yesterday afternoon so she hadn't gotten a nap and pretty much as soon as we got in the water she kept trying to fall asleep.  Hey, at least she was relaxed!
I ordered a imse vimse swim diaper online and its scheduled to arrive today (yay!) so yesterday I put her in a thirsties duo cover and it worked WONDERFULLY in the pool!
But yeah here are a couple of pictures:

I love the last one, she does look very happy and relaxed! The floats are cool but I think it's fun to hold baby in your arms in the pool too.

Cycle #1-9 - All Natural....5BFN's, 4BFP's (all ended in miscarriage)  Cycle #10-11 - Met with first RE, diagnosed with heterzygeous MTHFR mutation & slightly low SA on all counts. -BFN, Cycle #12 - First IUI+Trigger - BFN, Cycle #13 - BFN Cycle #14-15 - Met with new RE, diagnosed with a blocked right tube that previous RE completely overlooked or didnt care to mention. OMG in #4 she looks EXACTLY like Ben!!! Such a water baby Morgan would fall asleep in her floater thingy too lol

a cute baby butt!
Swim diapers (both disposable and cloth) don't hold in pee, just (hopefully) poo. So that's why a cover, or a pocket with no inserts can also work like a swim diaper... b/cc basically you just want tight elastic around the legs and waist. For me, I liked the thirsties cover better than the actual swim dipe b/c it has leg gussets.
