I've already bought 2 newborn packages and 3 Nubunz diapers. But I'm on HyenaCart looking at Piddle Poddles diapers, and I found the CUTEST little dino diaper. Obviously, we don't know the sex yet, but I really want this diaper. Would it be wrong to buy it and still use it if baby turns out to be a girl?? Would it be horrible that I put a girl in a dino diaper??

Its a diaper, made to poo and pee in, I dont see why it would be wrong to put it on either. Kieran has blue diapers, that we got on purpose.

I'd totally get it! Little girls can wear dinos too! Lila wears some of the boys old clothes and uses a lot of their old blankets (blue with trucks on them). I think she looks totally cute in their old blue striped hooded sweatshirt.

I agree with the other girls!! I always laugh at all the gender/color issues...People think (not you just people in general!) baby girls need to wear all different shades of pink and no blue, green..etc. And boys just the opposite. I wear blue and green all the time and im a girl! I will put my daughter (if I ever have one) in all different colors and prints!

This is why I despise pink, I try not to put it on Kieran. Half her cloths are pink(from presents, I very very rarely will buy pink) so she does wear it but most the time she wears greens, blues, purples, yellows, etc. I wont wear pink myself (probably cause my 41yr old mom loves pink and dresses like someone my age most time time, and in all pink)

Yikes about your mom Justine!!!
See, I love pink, and have no problem putting a girl in pink, but I just wanted to make sure it didn't seem weird to buy a dino diaper and put it on a girl! I personally love dinosaurs that's why I fell in love with this diaper!!! Just didn't want to be the only crazy person who puts a girl in a boyish diaper! Thanks ladies!

I always hated pink myself and wasn't to keen on putting Lila in pink. Of course the majority of people got nothing but pink for her. My mil knows I'm not a pink fan and thats ALL she got her. I do put her in a lot of pink now because thats what I have the most of but also because the color really compliments her. She's starting to make me actually kinda like pink now.

I know, didnt say the clothes cant be cute if their not pink, I just said I would put her in the cutest girliest clothes. I had already made it very clear in my previous two posts that I think girls shouldnt have to only wear pink.
And I didnt say anything about "the cutest girly clothes" being pink. I just said I would put her in cute stuff no matter what color.

YAY for dino print! I don't have a problem with pink, but I don't really care for baby pastels like pink... in case it isn't obvious I like the really bold/loud colors. haha. But yeah I would totally put dinos on her. Lily has lots of blue diapers etc and even if I had one with big trucks and penises and other boy-like things she'd still wear it if I liked it... besides, its usually under clothes... and you know she's a girl, and she doesn't have a clue what she's peeing/pooping in... so why not? haha.
