Who would have thought? After all it took last time. We decided to TTC, had sex one time and...
What?! No needles? No doctors? No Clomid? No cooter cam!?!?
I am still in shock over here.
So, some of you on FB know the back story.
Two nights ago I had a tiny bit of spotting, so I thought AF was coming. Well she didn't show by the next morning, which never happens, she always shows pretty soon after any spotting. So I tested on an expired test and I got a very faint line. I tested again later in the afternoon after holding my pee like 4 hours and I got a slightly darker line. I bought FRERs last night and tested this morning and now I am convinced.
Oh and I tested on my expired digis. The clearblue one just gave me the little hourglass thing and then...nothing. I had and HEB digi so I tested that one and got the little pregnant thing to show up.
Now for the downside, I am kind of worried ladies. My expired FRER from yesterday afternoon pee and my non-expired with first morning pee...the line looks the same darkness. On my cheapy expired tests the line actually looks a little lighter to me. And I know you aren't supposed to compare, especially when it hasn't even been that long but it worries me. My BFPs are also much lighter than the ones I got with Matthew (at the same DPO) and they look more like the ones I got with my miscarriage.
FYI here are two of the tests. Expired FRER with yesterday afternoon pee on top. New FRER with this morning's pee on bottom.
I am running into my OBs this morning and they are going to check my hcg levels and my progesterone. (My progesterone was low with my miscarriage, kind of a chicken or the egg thing they don't know if it was low b/c something was wrong with baby or if the low progesterone caused the m/c. I was on progesterone supps while I was preggo with Matthew. Hopefully my prog. will be nice and high and I don't have to worry about it.)
So anyway, that's my story! I haven't told Dh yet, I will tell him tonight. I am going to try and not worry too much and enjoy being pregnant. My mind is going like a million different directions. Oh and I think I am 12 or 13 dpo today. EDD is Feb. 5 but if I got early again, then baby might be born late Jan. That seems so SOON.

Conggratulations Shannon! That's so awesome for you guys! I can't wait to hear hubby's reaction! And for what its worth, the second set of pics from this morning DO look noticeably darker to me than yesterday's! Also remember that there are so many variables -- the tests are from different lots and even different formulas and the 'new' FRERs supposedly aren't as good as they used to be, etc. etc. etc.
So don't even sweat it... congratulations!

Thanks everyone! I didn't have an appt at the Dr's, I just ran in and got my blood drawn. Spoke to my OB briefly in the hall and she said she wouldn't have results till Monday and she'd call me with them. She seemed unconcerned about things and just kinda told me not to worry. I'm assuming I'll get an ultrasound sometime in a few weeks.
Oh and all the TTCers, I want you to join me!!!
