I went and got Matthew a "Big Brother" shirt at Carter's this afternoon. The smallest they had was a 2T, which is too big, but he'll grow into it.
I was going to pee on another (expired) digi so it could show up pregnant and have Matthew be holding it when Dh came in but darned if the digi didn't say "not pregnant" this time around! On the same pee from this morning! I was so irritated. I guess I've got juuust enough hcg for it to show up pregnant on the HEB digis and this 2nd one didn't catch it. Oh well. I know I am pregnant and I guess that's what I get for using expired tests and old pee and doing digis when my lines are still kinda faint.
Anyway, Dh comes home and picks up Matthew and says, "Big brother. Your shirt says Big brother!" Then looks at me, "Why does his shirt say big brother?" So I smile and hand him the FRER and he says "You're pregnant? Nuh uh! Are you serious?" And I said yes.
He smiled and gave me a hug and said something about he couldn't believe I was already pregnant. Then Matthew started fussing and Dh was all imitating Matthew "Oh no, I don't want a little brother or sister." Hahaha.
So I ask him a couple minutes later why he didn't "get" the shirt and he said "Oh I thought the shirt meant that HE was going to have a big brother." And I'm all "What???" And he said "You know the Big Brother/Big Sister organization? Like you get a big brother if you're a kid who doesn't have a father?" And I said "Yes, but um, Matthew has a father." And he said "Yeah, that's why I was confused."
Then he looks again and he's like "Wait, how could you get him the shirt, since we don't know the baby's gender?" Me: "Ummm, it doesn't matter whether the baby is a girl or a boy, Matthew will still be a big BROTHER." Dh: "Oh yeah, that's right."
Man, I think my Dh was totally flabbergasted! Hah! I totally shocked him! Hehe.
I sent a picture of Matthew wearing his shirt to both grandparnets and had them open the email while I talked on the phone. My MIL was really happy and said she was wondering when I'd be saying I was pregnant again. My mom was totally caught off guard, I had even said I was getting my period the other day (thought I was) so she was really excited and shocked too.
Really awesome stuff! Going to tell more close family in the next few days.

Our attempt at a family photo (we took one of me and Dh the day I found out I was preggy with Matthew) totally didn't work as Matthew freaked out and started crying for some reason b/c he didn't want to be held by us on the couch. So this is what we have!
Oh and FYI I'm sure you all know this but please don't say anything on facebook (unless it's on the private group of course). I will annouce on there once I get into the 2nd trimester.
