I went to the bathroom, and I pee'd, wiped got up and looked down and I could see where my pee was in the water, but also the water around it looked cloudy. I googled cloudy amniotic fluid and have been reading that if your past due, the fluid can look cloudy in the toilet....any ideas??? I feel discharge coming out but not much more than what I would normally have. I dunno what to do??

I called my midwife and she said it could very possibly be my fluids - but dont over react or anything, just to wait it out and see what happens.....cross your fingers girlies!!!

I'm 11th days over due. I've been laying down for about 15 minutes and I've had 2 reeeeeeally weak contractions...I think. Im in complete denile so its hard. I feel like I have to pee every 2 minutes. Nothing feels like its trickling out just normal discharge feeling. Maybe this is it? Who knows lol!

My water broke with my two previous pregnancies - the first time I was in the tub and the second time I had just sat down to pee. I went into labor both times on my actual due date and the water was VERY cloudy, I would say opaque really. Also, there was vernix floating in it and there really was no mistaking it was my amniotic fluid. I'm not sure what it would be like with a slower leak, I POP! and then gush fluid everywhere.

Cloudy urine can be a result of UTI, bladder infection, and increased discharge according to my pregnancy book. So I guess it could be something or it could be nothing... hope it's the start of something!

It doesn't sound like your water to me but I could be wrong. Either way that baby has to come out soon! Any day now. I hope tonight!

I'm no help, I never saw mine. But hopefully this is it! She can't possibly stay in that much longer, after all. Stubborn little lady.

Well Ive been fine since. Aside from my uterus/kiddo feeling like their both going to fall out at the same time, Im pretty much back to normal. Had about 3 MILD contractions while laying down, but thats it. I dont know how much more of this I can take my nether regions seriously feel like their tearing apart Midwife told me no sex or anything that could contaminate the canal just in case it was my waters (which Ive felt nothing come out) gaaaaah!! come out little one!!!

When my water broke it was cloudy but I had a huge gush and kept leaking. You'd feel a leak if it was your water. Maybe tonight you will finally go into labor. You must be going crazy waiting for it to start!

Ya when mine broke it was a gush that's for sure and it just kept coming and coming and coming. It was goopy and cloudy looking.

How are you doing?? Hopefully something happens soon!
