Nothing. Nada. Not a single flipping twinge. I dunno whats going on! I must have pissed off the birthing gods or something. I go in tomorrow for an appt so well see what she has to say. Can they break your water at home to induce you?? I dunno....

have you tried evening primrose oil like right on the cervix? or maybe castor oil? or nipple stimulation?

1) No, Im dilating, so softening isnt the problem

2) Castor oil, esecially overdue can cause baby to poop before coming out, and with a homebirth, Im even more scared cuz it can cause infections and have us end up in the hospital

3) nipple stimulation has done nothing other than hurt my already tender nipples...makes me jump outta my skin when they get touched

I wouldn't artificially break your water in hopes that it sends you into labor....normally it is done when labor is already happening in hopes to progress it faster. Once your membranes are ruptured, there isn't much protecting baby from infection so (in a hospital anyways) you are put on the 24 clock for delivery. I don't know how that works with a homebirth but if you aren't IN labor, water breaking wont do anything but make things even more complicated. Just my 2 cents!

I was just thinking if I was dilated enough maybe it would speed things up LOL Im not sure if I have a deadline or not, if I am, I think its more than 24 hours though....Not sure?

I havent tried eggplant yet, not sure if I want to LOL!!
