Midwife and myself don't feel comfortable letting me go any farther. To no be a liability on the hospital i am going in for a csection tonight. Still at the midwife appt, trying to get files copied and transferd. Please no talk of this on Facebook as I probably won't post there till later tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm still barely 2cm and fluid is sorta low, and her hb is a tad fast. No real reasons to flip but more of a reason to call it quits. Like I said ill update more later.
~Beth
What a freaking ordeal last night! After my midwife told me to go straight in since Im a liability to the hospital if I labor over night THEN go in, I just went in at about 7:45-8. Its what time I got through rush hour from the midwife appt. I knew I was going to get shyte from nurses and the OB's. The OB called me and said Im a liability either way and cant believe "the person who was seeing me" (not ONCE would she say my midwife) would send me in so blaintly demanding a csection. Said it was disrespectful. Her and her coleges (?) will have to talk it over and see WHEN ITS CONVINIENT FOR THEM to do my csection....Ok....Im mad at this point. Whatever, its not my fault. I was told to go in so here I am.
After getting me into trioge, Bella was hooked up, Id been having BH/contractions all day, so they were picking thoes up as soon as I said "Im not in labor" which they ultamitly agree'd. So pretty much there wasnt any rush for a csection that night. The OB called me back and said baby looks perfect, your on the books for tomorrow morning at 10:30, and SENT ME HOME
Whatever dudes
So screw it! I GLADLY came home LOL. So I go in this AM at 8:30 (its about 5:30 now cuz I cant sleep....wonder why ) Csection is scheduled for 10:30.
I am FLIPPING EXCITED!! I knew this isnt what I wanted - but to NOT be pregnant and to have her in my arms...uhhhhhhg!!! its been a long time coming. I tried for a home birth, and I made it this far! I thank my midwifes for giving me this opportunity to step out of the high risk world and actually try to give this to me. Now that me and my body are about to have a come to jesus meeting, I saw that my failed induction with Ian wasnt a fluke (I still have some other thoughts but well go with this for now) At least I tried, and gave my body a 100% fair chance at a natural birth.
So with that ladies, Im going to go crawl back up in bed with hubby for an hour or 2, and expect THE BIG update from me after I get out of recovery and get settled in with Izzy Baby. Thank you for all your kind words through this journey. I just want you all to know that you are one of the MAJOR reasons I went for this Homebirth, and stuck it out so long. Thank you, my sisters

Everything will still be great because you will have your baby in your arms tonight! I hope everything goes perfectly and you have an easy recovery. I can understand being let down after all the prepartion for a home birth but I think you are doing the right thing since it's getting close to two weeks past your due date.

((((HUGS)))) I know you're feeling disappointed, sweetie. A healthy baby and momma are gonna come out of this and that is the most important part. Can't wait to meet your precious (if stubborn!) baby girl!!

I'm so sorry Beth. Sorry if I missed your reason, but why wouldn't they just try to induce you first?
Either way, you get to meet your little girl very soon! I hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for you.

She's had 2 c-sections and its not safe to induce w/ pitiocen and such after having a previous c-section.
Sorry it didn't turn out how you wanted, but getting her here safe for the both of you is what matters.
