you can become OBSESSED with cloth diapers! I never understood until now! After Rachel's post and all the girls explaining things so well, I feel like i finally understand (not completely, but alot better) and I cant stop browsing for CD's!!! Is it crazy that I wanna start buying some things now?
I totally get the Cloth diaper obsession now!

OMG do you guys ever use this website? Cloth Diapers, Cloth Diaper Covers, bumGenius, Bummis, Kissaluvs and MORE from the top Ranked Online Cloth Diaper Store I was just browsing on their website and clicked on the "shop local" tab and realized they are about 3 minutes from my work!!!! That is soooo weird, and so tempting, I cant tell you how bad I wanna stop by there on the way home. But I dont want to be this weird random, non-pregnant woman shopping for CD's!

You should go and buy a diaper!! They won't know your not pregnant. For all they know your shopping for a pregnant friend or something!! You are lucky to have Cotton Babies so close. I had the local cloth diapering people come to my house when I was about 6 wks pregnant. I could not wait to get started. Everything became a lot easier to understand after I saw the diapers in person. I wasn't super into buying new diapers back then but I'm really into it right now.

Yeah I really don't think anyone would judge you... for the most part people who CD are just STOKED to bring other people over to the fluffy side, so they'll probably be glad you got hooked early! haha. Besides, you could always be buying for a friend or something. And if you don't want to 'white lie' I could be that friend and you could buy me stuff!

I have totally fallen in love with BumGenius Organic diapers ... have any of you girls used these? I like the regular BG 3.0 as well, but I really like the look of the snap instead of velcro...is snap better functionality wise, or velcro?
And whats the difference between the BG 3.0 One size diaper, and the BG 3.0 Deluxe all in one diaper? They look exactly the same to me, but theyre in different categories on cotton babies and they are different prices?!

I love our BG organics so much I don't want to use them because Nolan still poops a lot and I hate when he poops in my favorite diapers. I really love our BG period....but the organics are SO very very very trim and Nolan pees SO much, they contain his pee so amazingly. They are AWESOME diapers.
BG Organics are by far my favorite diapers in my stash - and I have a ton of diapers - just ask Nikki or Alice, hehe.
The deluxe is an all in one and is not one size. I love our BG one size as well....and if velcro doesn't work for you, you can always get them converted to snaps. That is what I plan to do when the velcro goes out on our BG (which they tend to do over time....but I don't put mine in the dryer and I hope that helps).
The downside is the organics take forever and a day to dry...but they are totally worth the wait.

hehe. I became obsessed before we were even TTC! I had my entire stash planned out. Then something new would come out and the plan would change. etc etc. I had quite the stash for someone not pregnant. Now that i know baby is a boy though.... LOOK OUT!
Matt knows how happy it makes me. When he comes home from work, he gets the mail and then wakes me up. (i work nights) He'll say "Wake up! You have diaper mail!" Then i get up all excited and proceed to hug said diapers lol.
