... and there is a little heartbeat in my belly!! 
Obviously to early at this stage to see if there are any development issues, as per last time, but a heartbeat is a sign I will be carrying past 12 weeks. So now I gotta wait for all info to be sent onto the Genetic Services in Auckland the the CVS will be booked in for 12 weeks (just over 4 weeks away).
Also got some meds from the doctor to help control the morning sickness. I have to fly down South to visit DF's sister this weekend and could not face being this sick and travelling. Am only taking half what the doctor recommened and am feeling much better already.

yeaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!! i'm so so so happy that there's a heartbeat! omg i'm kinda tearing up over this...the heartbeat is just something that i am so looking forward to at some point for myself and i'm just so happy for you that you saw it!
also i'm so glad you got some meds for your morning sickness, that will make travelling a lot easier for sure. i think 4 weeks to wait for the CVS doesn't seem too long to wait, especially with the wonderful news about the heartbeat!

Yeah, I just about cried in the u/s! I did try to keep it together coz it was the same guy who did our u/s last time and who had to tell us there was something wrong.
4 weeks isn't too long to wait. Everything is happening much faster this time!

Yep, flying down South this weekend to see DF's sister, then got a 'surprise' weekend planned two weeks after that by DF's work. DF has been working for his company for 10 years (with a three year break in the middle when we went overseas), so his boss wants to surprise us with a weekend away somewhere.
Got lots planned to keep my mind off things!!
