Lee is also a member of a few messages boards (car and military) so he "gets" it. I refer to it as "my mommy message board" but it doesn't generally come up in conversation all that often.
Does Guy not like JM??

I just asked him so we just had a little conversation about it. He said for the most part he likes it, especially b/c I'm exposed to more things and different ways of doing stuff and because of that we've researched more of the choices we may not have known we had. He's also thinks its cool that I've found 'real life' friendships from JM. But he also said there have been times where he really hated JM and wished I would just leave completely, like when there's been drama that's kept me up all night and had be totally upset and stressed and affected IRL.
How does Guy feel about it?

Dh gets annoyed at times since its my only "adult interaction" most days besides with him. But he also gets it since he used to be on phone and car forums.

My DH is cool w/ it. He knows it is a support group for me, so he wants me to come on regularly.

I don't really talk to DF about it that much! If he sees me on the computer he asks if I'm on my 'Yummy Mummys' website!!
I've posted here a lot longer than he knows about coz I felt silly telling him I was hanging out on a board where we all talk about 'waiting to have babies'! lol!

He refers to it as the mommy forums. He doesn't care either way. He gets it and totally understands the interaction and how important the friends can be. He is an online gamer and has the same sorta thing with in his game.

My husband has mixed feelings. He likes it, because of how educated we now are about TTC and childrearing. He also likes that i've made friends that i see outside of JM, and that i get so much support. However, when we were TTC, and after my m/c... he did not care for it. He said i would "disappear into the internet". He felt lonely like i would rather talk to you guys than him. He says it's better now. (Also he has his own laptop now that he disappears into WoW)

Meh, he doesn't care. I think he's pretty indifferent about it. He only gets upset if I get upset about something.

He doesn't really care but he did see my number of posts one time and made a comment that I must be obsessed with the site to rack up so many posts. I don't think he was/is aware of how long I've been here.

i think my dh wants to know what we are talking about on here sometimes cuz he is always asking me "what are you DOING??" when he sees me reading/typing on JM. i dont think he really cares much though, and probably thinks we talk about our periods and yeast infections and tampons all day long.......which basically we do!! lol
lol tash - the 'yummy mummys' site!!! that's awesome. it should be called YM

My DH thinks its great because I've learned a lot of things that I would have never known about and changed my mind on a lot of things I thought I did. Plus I've made some awesome friendships AND actually have friends here in Rochester now *cough*AliceandNikki*cough* and for that I am so very very thankful.
I think he appreciates that it has made me more educated and confident when it comes to Nolan. He is also on forums as well so he "gets" it.

This is like the only internet thing I will do and am comfortable with so DH thinks its weird I do it...also, he thinks most of what people post is made up and some girls are probably sick pedophile dudes. He makes fun of me mostly....except when a thread turns into him being hot then he likes it

I dont think mine could care less. I tell him about the ladies on the board alot and he sees the pictures of cute babies on facebook. He likes though that it has made us more educated on TTC, MA, Vaccines, diapering, etc. Plus its nice not having to call the doctor for every little thing, i much rather consult here, then my ped first lol.

He is on a Corvette forum and some other ones...he totally gets it. And he definitely loves all that I have learned from here. He tells me all the time how I should do something with kids/babies or work in an RE's office with how much I know/have learned. I cannot even begin to explain how much information I have learned from JM, I love it! And not to mention all the things I will be doing with my baby, that I have NO DOUBT I would have never have done had it not been for JM (cloth diapering, breastfeeding, baby wearing, NCB...etc) Those things would have never even crossed my mind, because its just not the "norm" around here.

He likes that I have a way to talk to people going through the same things as me while he's working and I'm at home all day. It comes up in a lot of our convos and never thinks it's weird or anything He knows all about Beth being overdue and how bad I felt for her and that she needed a c-section. I told him about the c-section in Wal Mart last night

He is indifferent about it. He has a fish/plant forum he is on so he understands how it works.
