Gosh, life has gotten crazy and I haven't had a chance to stop in here for awhile! I am happy to see that I'm at least not a complete stranger...

We are in the process of selling our house. We also owned a triplex which we recently (unexpectedly) sold and we were able to use the profits from that to put a down payment on the purchase of a new house - closer to town, 2.5 acres, bigger house, etc. Unfortunately, we have to rent the new house until our house sells and it's just been a mess!! We had an offer on our house last weekend, but it was a lowball offer & we couldn't find a common ground, so it didn't work out. I am SO READY to move into our new house, it's so depressing to wait. Plus Jon was saying at one point he wanted to wait to TTC until we were in the new house. Needless to say, that conversation didn't go over well since there is no telling when our current house will sell. We are possibly going to NTNP starting this month. I am totally nervous.

Ben is doing awesome - he's talking all the time, sometimes it would be nice to get a moment of silence, but I'm happy he's a little chatterbox. Up until just recently, he was such an agreeable little boy. Now, oh...that attitude is here! He's generally pretty good-natured, but when his mood changes (which is SUDDEN, and often for seemingly no reason at all!) it is HARD to get him back to happy. He loves to make us laugh though, and he's quite a sassy little thing.

He's hard to photograph, but here's a pic from yesterday, we were gardening at the new house (it won't be rented until the 18th)


And there is the cutest little playhouse at the new house for Ben - he was exploring that while we were taking another tour of the property (I want to move soooo bad I can taste it!)


So, that's our life in a nutshell. I have caught up on a lot of threads, but my internet is too slow to respond to them all. I'm gonna try to be a lot less MIA now!!!

OH MY GOODNESS he has gotten so BIG!! He's a little man! I love that playhouse. Hopefully you will be able to move soon. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your old place sells. I keep hearing that the economy is picking up but you can't always see the effects of that on a personal level right away. So many people are in your predicament and it's so frustrating. Anyway congrats on that new place, you're going to really appreciate it when you finally get to move in! Thanks for the update!

You new house sounds amazing with the 2.5 acres. I hope your sell your current home fast. It must be tortue knowing you have this great new place but not being able to move in it.

Oh my gosh, he has gotten so big! He's like a little man! I hope you get to move soon, that has got to be so frustrating having a new house and not even being able to live in it...not to mention someone else living in it!
