DBF said that infamous word...oops. and I thought well, that's fine, I'm a ways from ovulation. then i looked at the date and thought well....perhaps ovulation will not come around at 14-15days......then 2 days later I go to the bathroom only to find ewcm....for 12hours. i tell DBF...."uh sweetie.....I'm ovulation." He says "Ok." I said "we didn't do anything to prevent twice in the last 5 days." he says, "yeah i know." I said, "you realize i could get pregnant right?" Then he says, "yeah I know, you'd look cute pregnant." And that's it. So here I am....1 day into a 2ww. I'll let ya know in around 10-11 days......

Yeah we live together now....no other choice really for him. He was living in a house owned by his grandparents but they made him move so his brother and his brothers wife----who is pg with their 3rd and refuses to work----can live there because his brother is out of work and has been for a year or more. Long story there but the favortism that is shown to his brother is mind blowing! So after talking it over, and talking to brayden, and deciding what I really want we decided it would be ok for him to live here. Brayden actually said last night: Matt quit work, retire and stay with us forever and ever! LOL. He is soooo good to Brayden and so good to me. I've never had anyone show me respect before. We can have a disagreement and instead of arguing or whatever---which yes does happen----but even inthat case we always sit down and talk in very gentle voices what has us upset, why and how it makes us feel. I've never been able to do that before. Any other time I was blamed for everything and it was a yelling match. I could go on and on LOL. First thing he does when he comes in and give a hug to who ever gets to the door first LOL Brayden and I race to see who wins LOL.
As far as the baby talk: he knows I want more, and he's aware of the time constraints on my girly parts. I'm 30 now so its a matter of when i tell the dr i want it out. He says he's afraid of having his own because he never saw himself in the dad role before and babies scare him. He says he's afraid he will break them LOL. I told him he was already in a dad role by his own choice to a child he didn't even have to be, and he was amazing at it. He's a better dad to Brayden than Brady's bio dad----which granted doesn't say a lot but ya get my point. His family has welcome both Brayden and me with open arms, and they've made it clear that Brayden and I are just as much their family as their blood relatives and they show no difference between Brayden and Matt's nieces. I've known his family for quite some time, and my dad and his dad were friends before Matt and I knew each other. And his aunt had once been married to a friend of my mom's....so I knew them already and they are very VERY nice. matt now says he wants kids, but he doesn't want to plan it. He just wants it to be a surprise.
Oh I should also add he wants to get married. He said he was waiting on something specific before officially asking....wont tell me what LOL but he did give me a ring that belonged to his mother....a beautiful ruby ring that is gorgeous...as a promise he wants to make me "legal." I'm in no rush for marriage though.....maybe in a year or two.
