Stephenie's post got me thinking about gratitude. Some of us on this board are riding the high's of life (pregnancies, new babies, new houses etc) and some of us are struggling with the lows (another BFN, unemployment, divorce etc). But we have all been up and we have all been down. I think no matter where you're at, it is a good idea to stop and count your blessings. When you're in a good place, it reminds you to appreciate what you've got. And when you're in a bad place, it reminds you that it's not all bad, that there are many things to be happy about even in the midst of stress or hardship.
So... what are you grateful for today?

I'm grateful for a full pantry of food, being a SAHM, and the 2 loves of my life.

My amazing husband
My three wonderful, smart, healthy children
My sense of humor, without it I don't know if I'd get out of bed some days
My hopes and dreams for the future

In light of our friends losing their little boy - I am thankful for my kids....being able to give them a big hug and get a big hug in return. I have been reminded that God has given me my babies and I must take the best care of them I know how and to make the most of each day with them...never knowing when our last day may be.

The other day I was driving along in the car and I was thinking about how lucky I am. Several, several years ago I was just kind of a mess... hanging out with a crappy crowd, not treating myself with respect, not being productive, etc. and I would look around at some of my old friends from highschool and think "man, they're just one of those people where everything works out and their life just looks perfect." And just a few days ago, I was thinking about myself "man, everything has worked out and I love my life!" I just feel so blessed. I have this awesome husband who loves me, respects me and bends over backwards to put me first all the time. We have a great daughter who is healthy and happy. I have two perfect little dogs. An awesome house with a great fenced in yard. Two cars in good shape that are paid off. Plenty of family and friends nearby. DH has a great job with benefits and gets paid more money than I'd make in a year working to do a hobby he loves. I get to be a SAHM which is what I'd always dreamed of. I genuinely don't have anything to complain about. My life is great and I am so very, very fortunate.

I have so much to be thankful for! A new place to live that suits us perfectly with so many benefits! A husband who works so hard so we can afford anything and everything we need and more! He also is becoming so much more hands on with the house and the kids... I couldn't ask for more. We have great family and we are working on creating good relationships with friends. I have two beautiful little boys who even though are such a handful, really brighten my day... plus another on the way!
Yup I have LOTS to be thankful for!

I too have a lot to be thankful for. I have a wonderful family and a wonderful realationship with my extended families. I have a beautiful, healthy daughter, a loving husband and a great home (small but cozy) that we own. We aren't anywhere close to being rich but we are relatively financially stable and we both have good jobs. I'm also thankful for the opportunity to be able to give back to the community through donations of food to the local AIDS Food Bank and through other volunteer work. I'm thankful for the opportunities I've had and will have to travel to other places in this world. I'm thankful to have a great circle of friends who are a great influence and example in my life. I have a lot to be thankful for and I do thank God for all the blessings that have been bestowed upon me and my family.

I am happy we have been able to put away money over the years to make it possible for me to stay home with the baby until January when I can get a good job with pay and benefits.
I'm thankful for a husband who comes home every night and tells me how lucky he is to have me.
I'm happy that so far Harper is doing well and right on track.

I love this thread!
I feel like my life is so full right now. Just 6 or 7 years ago, I had SUCH low expectations of myself. I was hanging out with a bad crowd, and I had a lot of growing up to do. Slowly but surely, those expectations changed and got higher and better, and I worked my butt off to meet them. As a result, I have a wonderful boyfriend who is the love of my life and my best friend, a beautiful son who is my miracle rainbow baby, a brand new house, a vehicle, wonderful relationships with a few of my family members, true friends, a stable career, and all of my debt paid off. I am very thankful for all of it, and I don't take any of it for granted.

I'm grateful for everything in my life, family, friends, job, new house.. God has been so good to me.. I'm forever grateful..
For those who don't know.. I joined the Navy when I got out of High school.. Then I got out of the Navy in 2006.. I served 9 1/2 years.. When your transitioning from military life to the "real" world.. It's like entering the unknown.. Many people struggle.. So did we at first.. But it slowly got easier.. I'm vary content with my life..

Well, today I am especially grateful that my business is going so well. When I left my job I was terrified that we wouldn't be able to make ends meet, but it's been quite the opposite. I'm doing what I love, creating memories for familes and supporting my family. I really am blessed!
I am also grateful that Reid is so well mannered, well behaved and sweet. He really is a joy to be around and doesn't give his mommy ulcers all that often
