I would say my nausea lightened up considerably last week (12 weeks preggo). Only to be replaced by crippling headaches.

It was different with each of my kids.

With Liam I threw up 2-3 times a day from 6 weeks til 15 weeks.

With Lochlann the nausea started at 3 weeks and got worse from there. I'd say I was throwing everything up (even water) by 5 weeks, went on meds at 11 weeks, increased meds at 12 weeks, and was finally able to wean myself off and be puke free at about 21 weeks. Nausea kicked back in the last month though. Hyperemesis SUCKS!

With Lila nausea started at 6 weeks and it was off and on til 13 1/2 weeks. Some days I felt fine, some days I puked all morning then was fine, some days I was fine all morning then puked the rest of the day, and some days I puked all day long. It was a crap shoot. Nausea crept back in the last few weeks too.

I never threw up, but I had nausea all day, every day, that was so strong I could hardly function. My doctor put me on diclectin (sp), which took the edge off, but I could still feel it. It went away very suddenly at 11 weeks.

10 weeks - from week 6 - 16. Mine started out relatively light. I would throw up maybe once a week initially but then as time passed it got worse and I was down to throwing up several times a day.

After week 16, everything was perfect.

Sooo... basically I'm gunna be feeling like crap for a while longer then...?!

My doctor put me on Zofran first of all, which seemed to work well, but it is really, really expensive ($62 for 20 pills and I'm suppose to take 2-4 a DAY!).

So my doctor told me to try Metoclopramide as it was way cheaper. I still throw up in the mornings on the Met, but not throughout the day, so I'm happy with taking this... But the last few days I've been SOOOOO tired. Like I can literally barely keep my eyes open. It started the day after I started on the Met, and I've looked up the side effects of this medication - and tiredness is a major one.

This is cr*p.

I just want to feel normal

I know how much it sucks. I was put on something other than zofran because it was so expensive, I don't remember now what it was called but I think it began with a p? Not sure though. Thankfully, morning sickness doesn't usually last the pregnancy and you should be feeling better soon. I know it seems like forever and a day when you're sick all day everyday but it will get better and its funny how it just goes away and you feel like your normal self again.

I never threw up with either of mine .. I had the odd day here and there of nausea from 6 - 12 weeks .. its very rare for me to get nausea constantly so it tends to be a day here and there

I'm sorry your not feeling well x I hope you feel better soon x

Thats what it was! It did make me really sleepy too--not fun with a 1 year old to take care of too. But it was way better than puking all day!

Weeks 6-19. Finally started going away around 19 weeks. I took Zofran for my morning sickness. Worked like a charm, but then i ended up constipated for 3 months and lived on stool softeners too.

I was taking B6 for a while, but didn't think it was making any difference. Maybe I will start taking it again...

B6 didn't touch my morning sickness with Loch and I couldn't stomach the smell of the capsules with Lila so I would gag just trying to get it down. I don't think it did a whole lot to help anyway.
