Lyla is doing GREAT! She is such a happy baby now......she LOVES to talk- says Dadadada all the time she says lalalal and blah blah blah....loves to laugh and giggle. She is sitting up on her own and reaches for everything in sight. She is almost crawling.....rocking back and forth- up on all fours, just has to figure out that she has to move her arms when she moves her legs. 
I am still BFing but slowly introducing some solids. I give her fruit and/or veggie once or twice a day depending on the day. They are not her favorite and she prefers BM but does like fruits better.
We are working on her sleeping better at night and sticking to a routine....She was sleeping through the night for about 2 months but then all of a sudden went back to waking up once or twice. She still wants to BF in the middle of the night (which I let her do even though I know she's not 'hungry') but I'm getting tired! I am also working on getting her to nap more during the day- she is a catnapper and usually won't sleep longer then 40 minutes at a time during the day.
I went back to work in late March/April and it went better then I expected. Lyla stays with my mom during the day so that helps!! I pump twice a day at work and it's going well. Right now we are on summer break until August so I'm not pumping at all if I can help it. I have over 600 oz in the freezer and no more room.....

So Cute! I love that first 4 month picture its priceless, and that sunflower dress in the 6 months is so adorable on her. Glad to hear all is going well with her. And yay for BF!

Mom to Seamus (7.18.06) and Kieran 4.8.09). Seamus has Aspergers, SPD, Lazy Eye and is also Color Deficient/Blind, basically he doesnt' see green or red. I'm still learning more but feel free to ask me about it if you have any questions!

What a pretty baby!!! TFS! I'm glad the transition from home to work went smoothly. That has to be a stressful time. She seems to be at a really fun age!

Lyla and Dominic sound like they're exactly on schedule together... Dominic has been babbling all kinds of syllables and has even said a "mama" once or twice, sitting up strong, reaching/grabbing/passing objects between hands, and the most recent development is the wiggling and trying to scoot. Dominic isn't so interested in crawling as scooting on his butt. He hates to be on his stomach most of the time, but loves to sit up and look around. It's amazing how far they come in only 6-7 months. They get a real personality, moods, likes and dislikes... they are little people already! Lyla is gorgeous (but you knew that). I love every one of those professional pics!

I LOVE the hairbows too - Nora wore bows like that in her 1 year portraits! thanks for the update - I was wondering how her sleeping was going?! Sounds like things are going great....she's a gorgeous girl!
