So I need a new bedding set b/c I hate out current one. It is super girly and well..the duvet cover and comforter don't fit eachother properly.
We currently have a queen bed. We're buying a house next year and will get a king bed for us, then put our queen bed (and whatever bedding I choose now) in the guest room.
I originally wanted something gender nautral for us, but then I came across this set and I *think* I really like it. I go back and forth between really liking it and thinking it is not right for me at all (trying hard not to be an impulsive buyer).
Woodland Organic Duvet Cover & Sham | Pottery Barn
Do you think it is too girly, even for guest room? Do you think it is too bold and busy? FYI...we have a beautiful dark charcol/black colored wrought iron bedframe (head and foot).
If I don't go with that one, I was thinking something more basic like this
Ruched Voile Duvet Cover & Sham - White | Pottery Barn
so...what do you guys think?
*update* I updated in another post, but I'll put it here too. So DH hates both these options.
Here is my newest choice, plus he doesn't hate it, haha.
Crate and Barrel - Sakura Bed Linens shopping in Crate and Barrel Bed and Bath

I love the first one but I would go with the more plain one for my own home.

I like both....I LOVE the white BUT I had a white one myself and well.....not a good idea lol. I do like the first one too, I think the darkness of your bed might offset the busy a bit. Especially if you toss in a few solid color pillows.

I vote for the 3rd option. I personally love white/cream based linens. I think they feel really luxurious, but I can understand why your husband doesn't want to be reminded of the work at home! We always have to have dark linens (which I hate), because we have pets that won't stay off the bed.

Ok it could just be me but I hate sleeping in friends/family's white stuff because it makes me nervous I'm going to randomly start my period or if I have it I'm going to leak or something. So when I have to sleep on all white I put undies and pants on! LOL

HAHAHA! That is too funny. Although, the thought of any of our relatives sleeping naked in our house grosses me out. So maybe this will deter that
