We still need a ton of stuff. We pretty much just got clothes at our showers which is great but leaves us without much else.

Can anyone recommend:
-Nursing Bras
-a Diaper Bag
-baby monitor

I'll come back when I can think of other things we still need.

I've always heard Motherhood has great nursing bras. I got mine from Macy's and I hated it, but never wanted to order another so I just stuck to regular bra's or no bra at all.

As far as a diaper bag or monitor, I don't have any recommendations. I just got a cheap diaper bag from BRU and we've never used a monitor.

my SIL uses a big purse for her diaper bag, its Ed Hardy and looks way cooler than most diaper bags. plus she got it at winners for a deal (canadian TJ Maxx).

I don't have any recommendations because I haven't bought good nursing bras yet, we haven't used our baby monitor yet, and our diaper bag is a bit on the small side. I just wanted to say you might want to hold off on getting good bras until your milk comes in. Your boobs may grow, they may not, you can't know until it happens. Mine grew probably a good cup size and a half. I just got a couple of cheap ones from Target before Charlotte was born to hold me over until I could make it out to get good ones. It is important they fit right and you won't know what size to get yet. I recommend getting a couple of cheap ones made for sleeping for now, they are much more comfy on sore nipples because they move with your boobs so your nipples won't rub against them, and it's unlikely you will be going anywhere for a little while. Also, I have heard you should avoid underwire.

I love love love my nursing tanks. Especially since it prevents my stomach from hanging our when I am in public. When it wasn't so hot out I just wore the tank under a normal shirt. Now that its hotter I find myself using the nursing bras but I love my tanks.

I buy my tanks from Target. I like the kind that have the cloth all the way around the boob when the flap is down instead of the ones with just the cloth on the outside edge but I suppose that is personal preference. I also like the nursing bras with the full cloth around the boob.

^^^^ I have those same nursing tanks and I LIVE in them!

I also second picking up a couple sleep nursing bras. They are soft and comfy, then once your milk comes in and regulates a little you'll have a better idea of what you are working with.

I have a vera diaper bag that I use when I am going to be out all day. I have a very bowling bag that I use when we are just going to be out a couple of hours. Still searching for the perfect medium bag!!!

I've heard REALLY good things about Bravado nursing bras, and am waiting eagerly to be able to get one for myself. Diaper bags, I'm not sure, because ours was given to us. For a baby monitor, we bought a $22 Safety 1st audio monitor from Walmart, and it has worked great.

I never bought a diaper bag, I had a whole bunch of totes at home so I used one. Works out really well too.

I'm using a Safety 1st Monitor that I got from my sister. She would have had it for 5 years since my nephew was born. I've been using it now with Amara and it works great.

I didn't use any particular brand of nursing pads so I can't really comment on those.

I bought two nursing tanks from the vanity fair outlet that I like so far! I tried on some nursing bras at macys that were made by motherhood that were super comfy but they didn't have the size I needed so I am going to go back to the actual motherhood store and buy some..

This is the baby moniter we registered for and received at our shower.. Not sure how well it really works yet! Sony 900 MHz BabyCall Nursery Monitor - Sony Electronics - Babies "R" Us

I have a coach diaper bag that I bought for myself which I love!!!! Its HUGE and has a ton of space and doubles as a purse.. I got a vera bradley diaper bag at my baby shower which is also a really great bag.. Its also very big with great storage!!

I got my nursing bras from Target. They are fairly cheap and work okay for me.

Diaper bag, I'm no help b/c I don't like mine.

Baby monitor, I use the Summer video monitor. I really love it. It's kind of pricey though.

I have Bravado nursing bras and they are great. They hold up well through many washes and the 24 hrs per day I wear them.

We have a Fischer Price Remote Muscial Audio monitor. It does the job. The music it plays it pretty nice too...but we don't use it ofen. It has a night light too..but we don't use that either (we like her room dark and quiet, haha)

As for diaper bags, I have a Pituna Pickle Bottom one that is gorgeous. They have really beautiful patters and tons of room. We also have a SkipHop messanger bag. I bought that one in black for DH. I usually use the Skip Hop one more since I am almost always wearing Jenna and that one has a nice shoulder pad for the strap. I think you should get one fun and pretty one for you and then a more functional one for DH (that you can use too)

Bras- I 2nd the sleeping/sports bras. They are comfy and you can wear them 24 hrs/day. Also, they usually come in S, M, L, ect so you don't need to know your exact size. This is similar to the ones I got: Sleep Bra 2-Pack : mothercare- Nursery Equipment, Maternity Clothes & Baby Shop Now I just wear a plain old non-underwire bra during the day and go bra-less at night because he sttn. My boobs went from an A cup to a B, so I don't need anything special.

Monitor: You won't need one right away so if you can't afford one now then just wait until baby arrives. You never know how long you will keep baby in your room until you see how it goes. We have a very nice Avent sound monitor, but we ended up get an AngelCare movement/sound monitor because we moved him into him own room at 10 weeks old and I was paranoid because he was a belly sleeper (he wasn't sleeping well with us... DH and pets were too loud). Love it! Found it for $99 online at Target. Wish I would have bought it to begin with and not wasted money on the sound monitor.

Diaper Bag: Really anything works. I have a Skip Hop Duo and I like it because it has a shoulder strap and can connect to any stroller. It's not very big though. To tell you the truth, I haven't really used one in months. I leave it fully stocked in the car. I haven't had to change him while in a store in forever so I don't tend to carry it with me unless I am going to be out for hours on end.

I never wore nursing bras....I have DDD's and they were not a good fit for me. Diaper bags: I liked lots of pockets and quilted ones.....I paid like $40 or so for mine. monitor....wow i don't remember it was like $25 or something....I got a cheap one that worked great.

Oh I should add: I got a diaper bag big enough for my purse stuff too.....it wasn't really huge because I didn't take bottles or stuff in it, but I did keep a hand pump in case of engorgement and extra clothes, etc..... for the Bra I just bought a JMS (just my size) stretchy one that was full coverage------a size bigger than I needed to allow for milk growth----and after he was born and my milk was in. That way i had better support and room. I had nursing bras but I would fall out of them.
