Some of my nappies are still smelling like pee after being washed .. also the machine kinda does after a wash as well ... How can I rid this problem ???

I'm not sure if they are in need of a strip wash as have no leakages or naything .. is it just a case of not enough powder ??? I wash 10 nappies evey other day .. I do a rinse, then a wash at 60C with 3 tablespoons of powder and then I rinse again and spin as after a rinse on my machine it leaves every thing soaking wet and would take ages to dry.

So yeah what do I do ???

Bearing in mind I am in UK and don't have things like the roack a soak thingy

I posted this in the cloth board but no one is responding
Thank yooooooooooou xx

I'm not really sure if this will work but you can try adding baking soda to your wash. It helps to kill odors and also acts somewhat as a fabric softener.

I've been using it in my laundry for years. I use the Arm & Hammer brand. I also use it in Amara's diaper bin and around the house for other things.

You can google it to find out the uses. Here are a few links that I found. Most are repetitive.

Here in the UK manufacturers reccomend not to use vinegar on them ... soaking them can rot the elastic so they reccomend dry pailing etc, have also read that on various sites

Fi has told me a way to rid the smells so gonna give that a go ... any of you ladies know of any other methonds of getting rid of smells ??
