did your second line appear just with in the 10mins mark.....or at the same time as the control? Was it dark or just faint?

I called the gyno and the nurse called back and said the dr thought it could be a bit early to test given my history and that perhaps I o'ed late like I did the other 2 times I have been pg.....which would have put my O date on the 20th---ish. So I came home and dug out the last 2 blue equate tests. couldn't wait lol and pee'd on one around midnight.....I hadn't had anything to drink for a few hours and i hadnt pee'd in a while. 2nd line came up right then----faint then it got darker. So I thought hmmm.....the others that I had taken I had to stand in the light and yada yada and they were ohhh so faint you couldn't see them without light. But I turned the lights off and just used hall light and it was still there! Now this am i pee'd and realized I forgot to pee on the stick....so I waited about 20mins and tried to pee again but couldn't pee enough (using a cup) so....after trying a couple times LOL I finally was able to pee enough in that little dixie cup to stick the stick in and again the line came up with the control line------naturally it is REALLY faint but I had to work hard to get enough in the cup! anyway, did your bad lines show that fast? I'm thinking I might just call the dr and ask for a blood test.

mine were faint, but dark enough to look like BFPs. I'm a pink dye only girl from now on.

I only used blue dye tests with Liam but I was already 5 weeks along when I first tested so they came up right away and were fairly dark but not nearly as dark as the pink dye I tested with first that morning (blue dye tests were middle of the afternoon to confirm it for dh. lol).

I have never used Equate, but I got 4 false positives on the CBE +/- blue dye tests. They came out of 2 different boxes. All the lines came up right away and were faint. They got darker as they dried. They were even dark enough that I could photograph them. I went to look for the pic on my photobucket, but I must have deleted it... because it pissed me off so much! My only real clue that they were false positives were that they never got any darker, even after 4 days. I think AF showed up on the 5th day. Also, the FRER's I used with the same pee were snow white.

Just found it! It was still saved on my computer. I took this pic at the 10 min mark before it dried. The line was blue and even though the picture shows it darker on the bottom, it was actually the same color/thickness throughout.

schwanger! lol thats a funny sounding word! but seriously that is crap that your test was a false pos jessie, my real early positive on one of those tests looked pretty much the same.

missy i think you are pregnant. get a blood test! and photograph those peesticks otherwise i'm going to have to go out and spend a whole bunch of money and pee on a bunch myself just so i can see some peesticks!!

I got 3 false +'s on equate blue dyes that came up as soon as the pee crossed the test. Mine were pencil thin and blue. Do you have any pictures?

ETA: These were all three of my false +'s. You can see how thin they are.

Ok Jess: Are you sure like 100% sure it wasn't a chemical preg early loss? That CBE looks EXACTLY like mine did with Brayden.

As far as the other 3.....mine doesn't look like that. the line is thicker. I'll keep testing but I dunno I keep thinking it's a bad egg or another ectopic. I need to get a blood test but I'm scared to either way!

I got a faint line on a blue dye... but then my period came. No idea what that means... it's hard to tell, I mean m/c, chemical, False BFP? who knows!

I had a DARK line on a blue dye test years ago, and it came up right away and got darker. I went out and bought a bunch of pink dye tests, and they were VERY negative.
