Chicken and such never bothered me, but sunflower seeds did. I'm addicted to them when not pregnant but during the first trimester(and some of the 2nd) the smell and thought made me want to puke(especially since dh would still eat them then kiss me with that breath) and with Kieran the smell of yeast gagged me, I could smell the bread isle a couple isles away.

Pretty much everything! I don't want to eat a thing right now, but I have to eat to stop myself from vomiting. I hate it!

I know that feeling, with Seamus I ended in the hospital cause I stopped eating cause no matter what it always came up.
Oh and that reminded me, Saltines, tasted like fish and didn't help me keep food down either.
Do they have you on any meds to help? I had to take phenegren till Seamus was born and till around the 3rd trimester with Kieran just to be able to eat a little

yeah i felt pretty bad most of today actually. around noon i was SO hungry i was dizzy and feeling like iwas either going to barf or faint. not fun! so as soon as i felt hungry i just ate immediately the rest of the day. i have been feeling dizzy now and then for a while now, which i googled and its normal of course! bummer.
oh i havent been into coffee much either lately! very wierd, cuz i am a coffee addict, but i prefer tea lately or even just water....strange!
oh i forgot to mention another wierd thing happened! i worked out this morning no problem whatsoever, then i took the dog for a walk in the afternoon and started cramping! after a walk! wierd......so i came home and layed down and drank some water and it went away thank goodness.

Oh I would get SOOOO dizzy! With Brayden I'd lay on my bed and stare at one spot trying to get it to go away!
Turkey.....I couldn't even look at it and I still have issues with it!

Chicken used to make me barf. I'm over it now and enjoy it again but the first 4 months just thinking about it made me gag.

Never had a problem with chicken but the scent of pancakes and bell peppers did me in.

It was something different with each of them.
With my first baby it was french toast and anything fast food.
With Liam it was fish. I couldn't even look at a box of fish sticks without throwing up. I still can't stomach the smell of fish.
With Lochy it was everything, but hyperemesis will do that to you.
With Lila it was chicken and nuts but it didn't last long.
With each one of them I had a major aversion to coffee, couldn't stand the smell of it. Good thing I'm not a coffee drinker. And also with each one there is a smell in this house that I can only smell when I'm pregnant and it makes me dizzy and want to gag. I've yet to figure out what it is but no one else smells it and I only do when I'm pregnant. Weird.

when we moved into our townhome, I was the same way. there was SOMETHING in the downstairs bathroom that I could not stomach. I would walk upstairs to use the bathroom every single time! Once the kids were potty trained and we could leave the bathroom door open (dog would eat the diapers) the smell went away for the most part because it was aired out. I remember having to go in with one of thoes blue face masks just to take out the garbage! I could smell if someone was in the bathroom because the door would open - and I was the ONLY ONE that smelled it! Drove my husband batty! When we lived in our other apartment with the roomates (before Morgan was born) The way my roomate would keep house made me want to vomit. I was "pregnancy induced allergic" to the apartment as soon as I got pregnant - gooood I can still remember that smell! My MIL had the same problems when she was pregnant with her kids.
With Ian I couldnt stomach butter (I could eat margarine though!) and onions!
Morgan was my adversion to breaded chicken - still to this day cant stomach some brands of chicken nuggets and fry sauce (usually have to make my own now)
With Bella - I couldnt eat the same thing in a 24 hour period. Nothing really made me gag and I could still eat everything. which is good to a point LOL the heartburn is what really got me this time around....and...well just look at the kids head of hair

So far, everything's good (a bid of nausea but nothing disgusts me). I just had chicken for dinner
Sarah, when did your chicken aversion begin?

This is not a pregnancy thing but I can't stand the smell of raw chicken. It makes me feel ill. DH will clean them up when we get them and then I can take it from there. Oh, I get "organic" chickens not the ones from the supermarket.
