I've cut back most of my bills by half, I feel like I need to cut back on diapers too.

Kylie has extremely sensitive skin, I have been using pampers swaddlers sensitive, as it's the only diapers which only give her redness on occasion. But thinking maybe switching to cloth will be better for her and save me money too. I know a lot of you do cloth diapers, can you point me in the right direction, as in websites, tell me what I need to buy.

Thanks in advance!

I'm sure others will chime in with great websites, I know they are out there.
There are many different types of cloth diapers. The cheapest way to go is prefolds with covers. But since Kylie is already 6 months, she is getting to the age that most people don't really like prefolds anymore (most people like them for when baby is little but not as much when baby is older).
Other options are fitteds plus a cover, pocket diapers or all-in-ones. Those will all be more pricey. You can buy them used here on JM and on diaperswappers.
There is also a program called Miracle Diapers. You can apply to be given cloth diapers, its for people who have a hard time affording the start up costs. That might be a good way to get started and then it might help you decide which kinds you like so that you can figure out what you want to buy. There are also a few stores that have a "try it out" type program where they send you a variety of diapers for cheap, but then you pay to send them all back or you can choose to buy any that you want to keep. I don't remember which stores have this.

Here's the miracle diaper website. Cloth Diaper Foundation

Thanks for the info, I have received lots of helpful information! I will try ebay too, as I have some money in my paypal account I can use to get started. I will also look into miracle diapers. I never did them before because I don't want to pay the start up costs and then decide I can't do it, but really want to give it a go for Kylie and for the new baby.

i got a reallllllllly well taken care of Bummi's prefold/cover kit off of kijiji. I bet you could find used diapers for sale on craigslist or kijiji near you. I also got a used lot of diapers from diaper swappers for really cheap. I like going the used route because it was cheaper, better for the environment, and also i dont have to wash them like 8 times before i start using them! They are all already at peak absorbancy I just plan to do one soak and wash with my Rockin Green (cloth diaper detergent) ....I have mostly diapers for a bigger baby though, since i am borrowing NB CD from a friend.

I recommend a trial pack of diapers - lots of places offer them.

Try Cloth for $10

Nicki's Diapers - Pocket Diaper Sampler

Nicki's also has a15 day wash program where you have 15 days to try it, if you don't like it then you can send it back for store credit to try something else.

Cloth Diapers, Cloth Diaper Trial Packages

Those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head!

I also want to add that buying diapers used is awesome, but be careful. A few times I've been really disappointed by what I have gotten, so make sure you ask lots of questions about the condition of the diapers and if it seems like the deal is too good...it might be!
