I hate the wait!

I am on CD 15 and waiting to O. I hate the waiting, especially since this is my first *real* cycle, as far as charting and everything goes and I just have no idea when I should be O'ing.

I've been taking OPK's everyday, and twice a day for the past 5 or so days, and the first one I take always gives me hope and then the next will hardly have a second line. I've had patches of EWCM, and my cervix has been between MSO and HMO for the past 5 days, so those signs are obviously not reliable, since they would usually indicate impending O. I had a HUGE temp jump the other day, and then I realized it was because of my hangover

. Whoops.

TMI Warning!!!:

I noticed last cycle, when I got my + opk's, I got SUPPPPPPPER horny. Like, DH was begging me to leave him alone, that's how bad I was. And, I am getting like that again, so MAYBE I'll be Oing soon. Keep your fingers crossed that this isn't some super crazy long cycle, though I wouldn't be surprised since I am still BFing.

Yup, I would always get super horney around ovulation too. I'd wear poor dh out! I hope you O soon, I know how horrible the wait to O is with wonky cycles from breastfeeding. When we were TTC Lila I was still nursing Lochy (he self weaned about 5 months into my pregnancy) and I wouldn't O til like CD30 on average. The cycle we conceived Lila I O'd CD29.

I am glad I am not the only horny one during O!

I sure hope I don't O on CD 30, but if I do, I hope it is consistent, meaning that I hope I don't O on CD 30 one month, then CD 10 the next and then CD 40 the next, KWIM?

ETAsk: How often were you nursing Lochlann? I O'd for the first time since having DD 3 or 4 weeks after we cut our nursing sessions down to 2 times per day.

The wait is the worst! The first time I charted I think the stress of the wait and watching my temp everyday only made my cycle longer, because I had the longest cycle I could remember.

the wait is hard.....I had a really irregular cycle so that made it even worse. I hope this TTC journey is quick for ya.

And for goodness sakes Krista dear you need a new siggy - at least take the pregnancy ticker off...poor little Charlotte what more does she have to do...she's been here a while!!!!

I think he was down to 4 times a day--first thing in the morning, before nap, before bed, and once during the night. Of course thats an average, some days more some days less. My biggest problem though was the too short luteal phase. It took several months to figure the supplements out to make it long enough for a pregnancy to happen.

Its so hit or miss though because I had no troubles after Liam. He night weaned and was down to 3 nursings a day, I ovulated 2 weeks later, and got pregnant with Lochy before ever having a pp af.

ugh, i deffo don't miss the wait lol. Horny at opk time is definatelty a good thing. I think the day we concieved this baby, we dtd 3 times that day. One of those being in the shower, and one being in some very interesting positions lol. Worked though!

PSSH, I can hardly get DH to BD once every couple of days, forget trying to get him to do it more than once in a day! Especially with the world cup, I guess soccer is more pleasing than sex. Silly boy.

We only did twice in a row because it was his birthday. And the weeks leading up was Stanley Cup games and he's a huge Penguins fan (and they won last year) so embarrassingly we did it "doggy style" several nights so we didn't miss a game. lol

Soo, today my cervix is MFC. W.T.F? OPK's are neg and no temp jump, so I definitely haven't O'd yet, but my cervix feels like it did after I O'd last month. Maybe it's just taking a break and prepping for O.

Yeah that's the sucky thing about TTC while breastfeeding. Your body gears up to O probably a few times before it actually does. When we were TTC and I was nursing Lochy I would have EWCM for 2 weeks and my cervix position would keep changing before I actually O'd.
