Ditto. Tylenol didn't touch me. It was 9 months of pain without my advil.

Tylenol is safe but may not work. When I was PG, I used to have DH rub my head/temples, kept the lights and sound low, etc. I also had this natural headache remedy stuff that was like an aromatherapy oil, and it really worked. I will try to find a link to it.

I hope you feel better soon!

I would give tylenol a try. It didn't do much good with my early preggo headaches, but as I progressed it helped. While I was pregnant I tried not to over do it with the tylenol, though, because I believe baby gets a full adult dose of it when you take it while pregnant. I tried to just take it when I was really hurting, which it sounds like you are.

I hope it helps!

sometimes a little caffeine can help. like a coke or something. Or if it's a sinus headache you can take sudafed.

I never took it because I didn't have a real need for it. I hope your headache goes away for you.

I had a headache like that a few times early on in pregnancy. The only thing that worked was to have a little caffeine - I'd have a small cup of coffee. That amount of caffeine is just fine. If the Tylenol won't work, give it a try.

I'm glad the Tylenol worked for you!

I had an almost constant migraine from about week 9-week 26, and nothing even touched it. The doctor told me when I felt it coming on to take 2 tylenol and drink half a coke, because the caffiene mixed with the tylenol should knock it out.

So glad it worked for you! The pregnancy migraines I'm getting now are miserable. Tylenol is like a bandaid over a bullet hole, as one of my DDC mamas said.

it can be from the major increase of blood flow to your body (cold packs should help)
It can be from dehydration (drink more water)
It can be from progesterone.
It can be from caffeine withdraws (a littl soda can take the edge off)
Also tiger balm on the temples can help.

i drank soooooo much water today, i carried my bottle around with me (as usual) and sipped all day. I'm that wierd chick that always has a bottle of water with her i drink so much water, its rediculous. I signed up for a spring water service and the woman suggested getting the smallest 'package' so three jugs a month, um ya i went thru that in like a week!

the tylenol felt just like kate said, bandaid on a bullet hole, but at least it was SOmE relief. so i had a small cup of pepsi and that helped a lot. i can still feel it lingering there a bit, so i'm just going to go to bed soon.

oh and angelaL u know how i was such a coffe addict before? well my home brew coffee just grosses me out now! been that way for a bit, my baby is a coffee snob and will only drink lattes mid afternoon lol

I will try to look for the tiger balm next time i'm a the store, that sutff is suppose to be really good...

ummmmm, Im saying Boy right now

I had Major headaches for the first 10 weeks. I even took Excedrin the first few times before I knew I was preggo. You can take Tylenol but it usually doesn't work.
