I really like the ladybug theme stuff for a girl. Or butterflies. Not sure why. They are just cute.

I have always had this vision of a ladybug room for a little girl...and on the walls red on the bottom and then a chair rail and light pink on the top. I LOVE red and light pink together. BUT my absolute favorite for a girl is hot pink or light pink (or any color you choose!) with a damask print. So classic, elegant, and modern! Here's some pics...

http://www.justmommies.com/forums/f5...sery-done.html (Nora's Nursery is Done!!!)
Link to the post I made about Nora's nursery. I didn't want pink, or girly, or "characters/living creatures"....so I finally found this and it was perfect. It's even better now that we replaced her carpet with laminate floors and a pretty green rug and got some more accessories like picture frames and hanging signs that say "dream" etc.
Good luck! I know its a stressful thing - I was going crazy finding just the perfect thing!

I did a neutral them. Nothing fancy at all. My photobucket is taking forever to load so I doubt I'll get a pic up. I'm not sure what's up with it recently but it's just been really slow for me.

This is the bedding I have for Lila:
Amazon.com: MiGi Sweet 6 Piece Crib Bedding Set: Baby
The picture really doesn't do it justice--the colors are incredible and there is actually a lot of red in it, more than it looks like as it seems overly pink in the picture.
When we get her crib set up I'll take a pic of it in there. If I could do a nursery for her I'd paint the walls a light sage green with a white chair rail and white waynescoting under it. I also hope to do her name letters but I haven't even done Liam's yet so you can see how behind I am! LOL
I also really like this set:

I know! That's super cute, right!
Also Rachel, babysupermall.com always gave me great ideas. You can search for bedding by gender, color, price, etc.
